New Delhi, March 22, 2007: After the success of Indian Idol 2, Airtel once again brings to its customers an exclusive opportunity to participate in Indian Idol 3, one of India’s most popular entertainment programs. This is an innovative and unique opportunity wherein all Airtel mobile and fixed line customers can call and register for an audition for Indian Idol 3. Registrations are open from March 23, 2007 and closes on March 29, 2007.
To register, an Airtel customer needs to call 646 from their Airtel mobile or 1280 from Airtel landline/ Fixed line phone and say “Idol”, which would then take them to the Indian Idol registration menu. Once the registration details are successfully completed over the phone, a unique registration number will be generated and given to the Airtel customer.

Each registration by an Airtel customer will be screened by the team at Sony Entertainment Television. The ones selected randomly will be called for an audition in Mumbai on April 4, 2007. The selection will be at the sole discretion of Sony Entertainment Television.
