Airtel presents an opportunity to 'Vote for the Taj Mahal SMS free from your Airtel mobile and make your vote count

New Delhi, 2nd July 2007: Bharti Airtel today announced a Free SMS campaign for all its 40 million plus mobile customers across India, presenting them with an opportunity to vote for the Taj Mahal. This special initiative is in line with the ongoing campaign running across the country, for people to voice their support, in order to select the Taj Mahal as one of the new Seven Wonders of the World.
To participate in this campaign, to vote one of India’s most symbolic and internationally recognized landmarks, all Airtel mobile users can send an SMS with the keyword "Taj" to a shortcode (4567). Airtel offers all its users the first SMS free during the period July 1st to July 6th (Midnight). For subsequent messages, the sender will be charged the standard Rs 3 per SMS.

Also, AR Rehman has composed customized music in six languages (Hindi, Bangla, Tamil, Telegu, Kannada, Malayalam) for the Taj Mahal campaign. Airtel mobile users can download this as their Hello Tune by directly dialing 678777. Users can also download ringtones, Truetones and full tracks by visiting Airtel Live from a GPRS enabled phone.
