This revolutionary offer from Airtel is all set to further open up new segments of the market from the very young to the old, from small towns to rural clusters and provide greater value to its consumers. Existing customers too can avail of this offer free-of-charge or by paying a minimal amount, depending on the plan that they are using.

Mr. Sanjay Kapoor, President, Mobile Services, Bharti Airtel Limited said, "The new Super Lifetime Prepaid further marks our strategic intent of making mobile telephony more affordable among the masses. As industry leaders, we will continue to provide innovative products aimed at enhancing customer value.”

The Super Lifetime Prepaid offers an Airtel user local outgoing tariff of Re. 1 for life.  Under this plan the customer can stay mobile by paying just Rs. 999. They have to use a minimum of Rs 200 every 180 days to continue enjoying lifetime validity benefits.  With effect from November 3rd 2007, Super Lifetime Prepaid is available to all existing as well as new Airtel mobile users. All existing Rs. 999 Lifetime and Easy Lifetime customers get this offer free-of-charge. The Rs 495 Lifetime prepaid customers can avail this offer by recharging with Rs 504.

Airtel has always been a frontrunner in providing affordable services to its subscribers, be it with its Rs 200 recharge, Lifetime prepaid and Easy Lifetime prepaid. This initiative for allowing the existing Lifetime customers to migrate to the Super Lifetime is in line with Airtel’s philosophy of rewarding its loyal customers who had earlier opted for the Lifetime offer.
