    Offers free 2 Mbps speed upgrade for all broadband customers viewing matches on YouTube
     
    New Delhi, March 15, 2010 : Bharti Airtel, one of Asia’s leading integrated telecom service providers, is the official Broadband sponsor of cricket on YouTube. Adding to the cricket excitement, Airtel Broadband is offering a free automatic upgrade to a speed of 2mbps, for enthusiasts who log on to YouTube to watch matches of their favorite teams.

    The excitement of cricket on YouTube has exploded with 6.9 mn views being generated in just last 4 days and Airtel Broadband has enabled its entire user base to experience TV quality videos without buffering on www.youtube.com/ipl. This association is helping open up a new video streaming experience for Airtel Broadband customers.

    Airtel Broadband has also introduced a social media game ‘Fastest Fifty’ to engage with the community on Orkut where customers will be able to predict outcomes, compete against each other and win exciting prizes.

    This limited period offer is available only for the 45 day cricket period on www.youtube.com/ipl. For all other sites, the customer will continue to surf and download as per the speed of their current Broadband Tariff plan.
