    Bharti unveils new brand 'TOUCHTEL’



    Announces the birth of a new world-class telephone service & solution experience   


    ‘TouchTel’ to be the flagship brand for the ‘Infotel Leaders’

    New Delhi, November 7, 2001: Bharti Enterprises, India’s leading telecom conglomerate, today unveiled TouchTel, the telephone services and solutions brand. TouchTel will bring to its customers a range of customized and comprehensive telecom solutions.  The launch of TouchTel follows the impressive success of AirTel, India’s finest mobile services brand, which has won the Techies Award for the best cellular service for four successive years and Magic, India’s largest pre-paid mobile services brand.

    TouchTel marks the beginning of a new era in telephone services and a giant leap on the delivery of integrated end to end telecom solutions. The TouchTel brand will encompass voice based telephone services, high capacity leased lines, private leased circuits, dedicated ISDN services and enhanced value added services like video conferencing etc.

    The launch of TouchTel marks a new beginning.  It is in line with Bharti’s business strategy and corporate philosophy unveiled in its high growth restructuring announced last year. The launch of Touchtel has taken forward Bharti’s initiative for leadership in fixed line services and broadband services through its recently formed business group, ‘The Infotel Leaders.’
