| In Tier1 and Tier2 MPLS PoP’s Airtel has implemented separate MPLS and Internet routers. However in the Tier3 MPLS PoP’s the MPLS and the Internet routers are shared, in these locations the Internet traffic is sent over a separate VRF to a default route to the gateway router. The IP address scheme is also different for the two networks.
