Airtel has been ranked India’s 2nd most valuable brand in the 2017 BrandZ™ survey of Top 50 Most Valuable Indian Brands released by WPP and Kantar Millward Brown.
Airtel is the only telecom operator in the list of Top 10 brands, which is dominated by banks & automobiles.
The BrandZ™ valuation methodology derives insights from over 3.2 million consumers, covering more than 120,000 different brands across various categories and markets to assess the brand equity. The survey pegs Airtel’s Brand Value at $10.23 Bn, an increase of 3% from last year.
With this recognition, Airtel has been featured on this list consistently for 4th year in a row.
