Jyoti Pawar is a Director Legal and Regulatory of Bharti Airtel Limited and a member of the Airtel Management Board. Prior to Bharti , she worked as an Advocate , with Mulla & Mulla Craigie Blunt & Caroe ( Solicitors & Advocates, Mumbai), for 8 years. From 2000 onwards till 2008, Jyoti worked as General Counsel for GE Capital, India.
Jyoti has over16 years of extensive exposure in Civil / Criminal Litigation, Commercial Arbitration, Corporate laws, devising & implementing advisory work on company formation, promoter agreements, joint ventures, mergers & acquisitions, SEBI Laws, Finance Laws, commercial & transactional work . She also has extensive experience in Policy and Process Compliance and Regulatory Compliance.
She holds a law degree from Mumbai and a Solicitors degree from UK College of Law and is a member of the UK Bar Association.
