1)     Lead the NOC operations in the shift
2)     Network Alarm monitoring, timely notification and raising Trouble Ticket
3)     Ensure Service Assurance and Service Delivery as per SLAs, and provide L2 support.
4)     Wet plant performance monitoring and analysis.
5)     Repair coordination and testing.
6)     Ensuring the resolution of TTs as per timelines.
7)     Ensure timely notification, impact list preparation.
8)     Provisioning of the circuits as per the Work Orders in stipulated time
9)     Preventive checks / routine maintenance of the EIG Network
10)  Effective co-ordination with Suppliers for resolution of issues.
11)  Effective co-ordination with Cable landing and Terminal Stations
12)  Escalations as per processes.
13)  Performance and MIS reports.
14)  Ensure 100% process compliance to agreed SLA’s for Service Assurance and Service delivery.
15)  Effective communications to all stakeholders, Escalations as per processes
Major Challenges :
Sound knowledge in Optical technology, Submarine cable system, DWDM, SDH and OTN
Hands-n experience in Network Management systems used in Submarine cable systems.
Maintaining Agreed SLAs in service assurance and service delivery.
Communication with geographically and culturally diverse stakeholders.

Educational Level
Must have:
Bachelor Degree of Engineering
Working Experience
Must have: 
At least 3 years of work experience in Submarine Cable Landing Station/Submarine cable NOC. Must have good communication skills in English.
1)     Lead 24x7 Shift operations, Maintaining & Monitoring EIG Submarine Network (Wet plant, SDH ,OTN & DWDM). Managing Trouble tickets. Co-Ordinations with Terminal Stations ,suppliers and capacity owners, Escalations & Notifications – Compliance of Agreed KPIs and SLA with EIG.
This Job Profile involves 24X7 operation, working in shifts, including night shifts. There will be three shifts and the engineer will be assigned shifts in rotation.
