While you were not active on the network, your friends, family, or colleagues might have tried to reach you but could not get through. Airtel Thanks App now smartly alerts you for these calls you missed through a quick notification.
Similarly, you might have tried to call a friend, family member or colleague but they were out of network. Airtel Thanks App now sends you alert to inform you once they are back in network, so that you can connect with them.
You will get a notification on your mobile once you are back in network or the person you were trying to reach is back in network. You can track all these notifications in real-time on your Thanks App.
You can view a list of these missed calls on Thanks App in a single click. Just go to
Manage tab > missed call alerts
You or the person you were trying to reach may miss calls because of any of the following reasons:
- Phone’s battery gets discharged
- Taking a flight
- Phone is switched off
- Vacationing in a remote location with fluctuating network
No. This is an add-on service that can be availed by all Airtel prepaid and postpaid customers without any extra charges.
All Airtel Black, Prepaid and Postpaid customers can enable this service.
If you are already subscribed to these alerts via SMS, you do not need to change any settings in Thanks app. You can smartly access all your alerts on a single screen in the Airtel Thanks app.
For Thanks app to show you the list of callers as per your contact list, we will need your permission to access contacts. Rest assured that your privacy is our concern, and we do not collect or save this data in any form. You can still view the numbers from which you received these calls without providing this permission.
Airtel’s smart network keeps track of calls that did not get through due to any reason. This smart network forwards these alerts once you or the person you are trying to reach is back in network.
Absolutely! You can always go to Thanks App > Account > Settings to enable or disable these alerts.
