    Details of network capacity fee

    The network capacity fee (NCF) is calculated on the basis of one or more of the following criteria:

     
    • The number of channels offered
    • The regions within the service area
    • The classes of consumers served
    • Any combination of the above factors

    The mandatory DD channels notified by Central Government are over and above the number of channels subscribed by the customer and such channels are not counted while calculating the applicable Network Capacity Fees (NCF).
