Q2. I am an Airtel customer. Am I eligible for Airtel Thanks benefits?

Airtel Thanks is an exclusive rewards program for a select set of customers. The following customers are eligible for the program –

 
  • Postpaid: All Infinity Postpaid customers (CoIP and Retail) except Add-on connections & corporate plans are eligible for Airtel Thanks program
  • Prepaid: All customers on unlimited recharge packs of Rs 119 and above
  • Broadband: All customers except for customers on corporate plans
 

Q3. I am not an Airtel Customer, how can I get access to these benefits?

To join the Airtel Thanks program, you must become an Airtel prepaid/ postpaid or broadband customer. To switch to Airtel, please visit your nearest Airtel Store.

Q6. Will #airtelThanks benefits change when I upgrade/downgrade my bill plan or recharge pack?

Airtel Thanks benefits are dependent on the bill plan/ recharge value. In case of an upgrade or downgrade, depending on the plan value, your Airtel Thanks benefits may get revised within 4 hours of change. You can view & claim the same on Airtel Thanks App.

 

Q7. I have an Airtel broadband connection, but do not have an Airtel SIM. Can I still get Airtel Thanks benefits?

Of course. You can view and claim your Airtel Thanks rewards by logging on to Airtel Thanks App with your registered mobile number.

 

Q8. I have an Airtel DTH connection, but do not have an Airtel SIM. Can I still get Airtel Thanks benefits?

Airtel Thanks program is currently live for customers with Airtel prepaid, postpaid and broadband only. We will soon launch the program for our valued DTH customers as well.

 

Q9. What is the Airtel Xstream App premium offer with Airtel Thanks?

Q10. If I don’t claim my rewards, will they expire even if I don’t change my plan?

All Airtel Thanks rewards are available on the app only for a certain time period. Once the reward has been claimed, you can enjoy the reward till the end of validity of that particular reward. Hence, it is advisable to claim the rewards as soon as possible.

Q15. I am not getting any Airtel Thanks details on my App, What should I do?

Don't worry. If you do not see any Airtel Thanks details on your app, simply update the app from play store or app store and the information would then become available for you.

 

This could also happen in case you are not on an eligible plan. Only the following customers are eligible for the Airtel Thanks program –

 
  • Prepaid: All customers on unlimited recharge packs of Rs. 97 and above
  • Postpaid: Customers on Infinity plans (Retail & COIP)
  • Broadband: All customers except for customers on corporate plans
 

Switch to any of the eligible plans and the Airtel Thanks rewards for that plan would become visible on your app.

 

Q16. Why is the app different for me and my friend?

The color of the app is based on the type of Airtel Thanks membership of the customer. If the color of your friend’s app is different, it is because they are using a different plan than yours which gives them access to different types of benefits.

Q2. Are these packs available to all Airtel prepaid customers?

Rs. 401, 448, 599 and Rs. 2698 Packs are open & available to all Airtel prepaid customers. However, Rs. 499 pack is a “First Time Recharge” pack, i.e. available to only new Airtel Prepaid customers as the first ever recharge they perform on their Prepaid number.

 

Q3. Can these packs be availed through through any mode or channel like Paytm, PhonePe, Google Pay etc.?

Yes, these Packs are available across all modes. Offline – Via Airtel Retailers & Online across any app / payment mode.

 

Q4. How will I claim or activate Airtel Disney+ Hotstar VIP subscription post recharge?

The subscription will be activated automatically after you recharges with their desired pack. You will also get a link via SMS. Once you click the link and login onto Disney+ Hotstar App. It’s important that you login with same number on which the recharge has been done.

Note:- In case customer doesn't receive the SMS or by mistake deletes the SMS, he can download the Hotstar app from Play store/App store and login using the same prepaid number on which Hotstar recharge has been done.

 

Q5. What happens after the pack validity is over?

The Telecom benefits and Disney+ Hotstar VIP subscription are independent of each other. Once the validity of your Telecom benefits finishes, you are free to recharge with any other pack of your choice except above mentioned Hotstar packs namely Rs. 401/ Rs. 448/ Rs. 599 or Rs. 2698. Your Disney+ Hotstar subscription will continue for full 365 days from date of recharge.

 

Q6. What if I port out of Airtel or downgrade to another pack. , Will my subscription continue?

No need to worry! Disney+ Hotstar VIP subscription will continue even if a you port out of Airtel or upgrade to Airtel Postpaid or shifts to other prepaid pack during the validity of Disney+ Hotstar VIP subscription.

 

Q7. How Many recharges of Rs. 401/ Rs. 448/ Rs. 499/ Rs. 599 or Rs. 2698 can I do simultaneously?

You will be able to recharge with any one of these packs ONLY ONCE in 360 days. You can however, recharge with any other pack once the current pack validity is over.

 

Q8. If I already have existing Disney+ Hotstar VIP subscription, will the validity get added?

No. Validity of Disney+ Hotstar subscription purchased through Airtel will begin from the date of recharge. Disney+ Hotstar VIP subscription purchased via Airtel will work independently of existing Disney+ Hotstar VIP subscription customer

 

Q9. How will I know the status like Validity, expiry date etc. of my Disney+ Hotstar VIP subscription?

You can simply check these details on Disney+ Hotstar app.

 

Q10. Can I take this offer on multiple devices using same phone number?

No. You can take the offer only once for a phone number but can login into multiple devices.

 

Q11. What all do I get with Disney+ Hotstar VIP subscription?

With Disney+ Hotstar VIP subscription, you get access to all live sports, such as cricket, football, premier leagues, formula 1, tennis, and much more. You also get access to Disney movies (dubbed), Kids shows (dubbed), New Indian Movies, Hotstar Specials and Star Serials before TV.

Q12. Are there any restrictions on Disney+ Hotstar VIP subscription?

Currently Disney+ Hotstar does not support more than one screen with a single Disney+ Hotstar subscription. In case you see an “error” that you are trying to access VIP content from more than one device, please check if someone is already streaming a video at the same time from another device using your account. To watch on your device, make sure the other user has stopped video streaming on the their device. In the “error” message you also have the option to “Log out of all devices”. By completing this, you'll be able to continue with your log in on your device. Alternatively, within “My Account” section, there is also the option to log out of all devices.

 

Q13. Will I get some notification before the Disney+ Hotstar VIP subscription validity expires?

Yes. You will get pre expiry alerts before the subscription expiry date.

 

Q14. If I uninstall the Disney+ Hotstar app, can I install the app again using the same number?

Yes, the subscription is independent of app install or unistall

 

Q15. If I already have a recharge pack whose validity is is still not over, can I recharge with any of these Hotstar packs?

Yes you can recharge with any of the Hotstar packs anytime. The following activation rules will follow:

Rs. 401: Pack will get activated immediately from current date along with Hotstar subscription

Rs. 448/599/2698: Disney+ Hotstar subscription pack will get activated after the existing pack gets expired. Eg. If existing pack is valid till 20th Aug 20, then 448 will get activated post 20th Aug20 along with Hotstar Subscription

Rs. 499: First Time Recharge pack. Pack will get activated immediately from current date along with Hotstar subscription

 

Q16. If I want to upgrade to Disney+ Hotstar Premium subscription, will the balance validity get adjusted?

Disney+ Hotstar VIP subscription purchased through Airtel is not eligible for upgrade currently. However, you can purchase Disney+ Hotstar Premium subscription directly on Disney+ Hotstar by paying the full amount of Rs. 1499.

Q1. What is ‘Airtel Rewards’?

Airtel Rewards is a program available only to Airtel Thanks App users on Android where they stand the chance to win exciting rewards from brands across several categories when they perform a specific set of tasks related to Airtel digital & telco products.

Airtel Rewards is currently available only to Airtel Thanks Platinum, Gold and Silver tier customers on the Airtel Thanks Android App. These will be available to iOS users also in the weeks to come – date for this is to be notified.

Q2. How can I find rewards in my Airtel Thanks App?

To find your rewards (available, claimed or redeemed) or to understand what actions can earn you rewards, you can go to Airtel Thanks Android App home and tap on Discover airtelThanks. Your Thanks tier benefits will be visible. From here, you can switch tab to ‘Rewards’ to know all about Airtel Rewards.

Q3. What are the ways in which I can earn rewards?

Actions to earn rewards can range from performing a particular recharge on app, paying your Airtel bill or merely completing your user profile on app. The actions relevant to you will be visible in the Rewards section of the Airtel Thanks App.

Q4. What should I do when I get a reward?

Once you receive a reward on performing an action, it will be visible on the Airtel Rewards section in your app. Once you click on the “Claim” button, you will unlock a coupon code which can be used on the particular brand website to redeem the offer / reward.

Q5. How do I redeem my reward?

Read through the terms of the offer, and if interested, you can click on ‘Redeem’ subsequently to navigate to the brand website to avail the reward / offer using the given coupon code.

If you do not understand any condition or have another query regarding the reward, please reach out to the respective brand’s support mail ID or contact number listed on the reward page.

Q6. Can I choose the reward I get for an action?

You cannot choose the specific reward you get for performing an action. However, while you are on the app, you might get a prompt to input your interests. Help us with your likes / interests there and we will try our best to give you a reward that you will love.

Q7. I performed a mentioned action but did not get a reward. Why?

Performing an action helps you earn the chance to get a reward. So, you may not always win a reward. The best way forward is to keep playing and we promise to delight you more often than not.

Also, be aware, that it could take upto a few minutes for the reward to be granted as our systems work to find the most appropriate one for you. So, be patient.

Q8. What happens to my reward if my recharge pack has expired or I change my bill plan?

Your rewards are safe and you can claim or redeem them once you recharge for any eligible thanks recharges.

For postpaid customers, rewards will not be affected if you change your bill plan.

1. What is SecurePalm Mobile Security for Thanks?

SecurePalm Mobile Security is a mobile security application that provides a suite of services that protects mobile users from online attacks, viruses and spyware so you are assured that your mobile device and personal data are protected as you surf the web and download files. Thanks customers will get free subscription of Secure Palm Mobile Security.

2. Is it valid for all Airtel customers?

This is valid for all Prepaid & Postpaid customers on Gold & Platinum segment of Thanks.

3. How can I avail this offer?

Here are the steps to avail the offer:

•  Download and login to Airtel Thanks App from Play Store

•  Click on Discover Airtel Thanks on the Home Page

•  Click on “Anti-Virus for your phone” banner in the reward section

•  It will redirect you to Playstore to install the Secure Palm.

•  Post Installation you will be automatically logged in to Secure Palm

4. What is the validity of the subscription?

This will be valid until you are on Gold or Platinum segment of Thanks.

5. I have deleted Secure Palm app. How can I install and avail free subscription again?

Please check welcome email sent on your e-mail when you had registered on the app. Email will have link to download and install the app from Google Playstore.

6. I am unable to locate welcome email in my inbox

7. What mobile operating systems do SecurePalm Mobile Security support?

SecurePalm Mobile Security currently supports only Android (4.2 and above).

8. What happens if I switch devices frequently? (Eg: iPhone on weekdays and Android on weekends) Is the subscription interchangeable in this regard?

The SecurePalm Mobile Security application will only work on one device (regardless of operating systems) at any one time.

9. Can I install SecurePalm Mobile Security in my memory card?

SecurePalm Mobile Security is not installed in memory card. It is installed in your mobile device’s onboard memory.

10. I have subscribed to other security provider. Can I still subscribe to SecurePalm?

You can subscribe to SecurePalm even if your phone is already covered by another mobile security app. However, we suggest that you cancel the subscription for the other security provider to avoid paying for both services.

11. Will SecurePalm Mobile Security drain my battery faster?

Battery drain due to the running of SecurePalm Mobile Security is negligible.

12. Can SecurePalm Mobile Security protect my SIM card too?

SecurePalm Mobile Security does not provide security for your SIM card. SecurePalm Mobile Security is a mobile security application that provides a suite of services that protects mobile users from online and application attacks, viruses and spyware so you are assured that your mobile device and personal data are protected as you surf the web.

13. What kind of malicious software does SecurePalm Mobile Security detect?

SecurePalm Mobile Security protects your mobile device from mobile malware and other digital threats including Ransomware, viruses, worms, spyware and other potential threats.

14. How often does SecurePalm Mobile Security scan for viruses?

SecurePalm automatically scans your device for every network change, Installed app & downloaded file. In addition it does a complete scan every 4 hours automatically. You can run a manual scan any time as well.

18. Can SecurePalm Mobile Security stop over-the-air hacking attempts?

SecurePalm Mobile Security prevents the download of malicious and infected applications over-the-air. SecurePalm network protection layer is focused on protection from MiTM attacks through hotspots and Wi-Fi networks. It does not, however, block communication sent with, Bluetooth, or IrDA interfaces.

19. If I had ignored a virus warning earlier, how can I remove the virus?

You can run a manual scan to see the warning again. If you ignored the warning of a malicious application, SecurePalm Mobile Security will automatically remind you to remove the threat the next time you run the application.

20. I have not checked for SecurePalm Mobile Security updates in a while. Am I still protected?

SecurePalm will still scan regularly in the background, however, please do ensure that the application is updated regularly to maximize the level of protection offered. Either check in the application’s setting that it will update automatically or perform a manual update on a regular basis.

21. How can I see when SecurePalm Mobile Security was last updated and when it performed the last scan of my mobile phone?

The last update to the app will not be displayed however, you can perform a manual check and update of the app at any point.

The last scan performed of the mobile device will be shown on the screen when you launch the app.

 

I am worried about data charges.
SecurePalm uses a minimal amount of data to scan your applications. The application uses between 2-10Mb a month, depending on the number of applications installed on the phone that has to be scanned through and the scanned traffic.

A: The HelloTunes offer is now available for both Airtel Thanks Postpaid and Prepaid customers. All Customers of Gold & Platinum & silver segment can avail this benefit for FREE with unlimited song changes.

Q: Is it valid for all Airtel customers?

A: This is valid for all Prepaid & Postpaid customers on Silver, Gold & Platinum segment of Airtel Thanks.

Q: What will happen to my already active HelloTunes? I have just paid / billing cycle has just started?

A: On selecting a new HelloTunes on Wynk app, your previous selection of songs will be disabled and new HelloTunes subscription will be activated. Special Caller tunes however will not get affected.

Q: Are there any monthly charges or Song change charges?

A: The HelloTunes Service is available for both Postpaid and Prepaid Airtel customers as an  AirtelThanks benefit. Users need to be a part of the Thanks program to avail the HelloTunes feature.

  1. As part of the Welcome Offer, all Airtel users who had set the HelloTunes on or before 5th February 2020, will continue to enjoy the benefit till 31st March, 2019.
    Post this period, this feature is applicable for Airtel Thanks customer only.
  2. New HelloTunes users (users who had not set HelloTunes on Wynk app on or before 27th January, 2020) will need to be part of Thanks program to continue enjoying HelloTunes benefit post 28th January 2020
    HelloTunes on Wynk app is absolutely free. Once you setup HelloTunes on Wynk, it will be activated for next 30 days. You can change the songs as many times as you want at no charge. To extend validity of the HelloTunes, all you need to do is renew the same song or set up a new tune to update the free validity to next 30 days

Q: What should I do to become Thanks Customer?

A: All our post-paid plans provides Thanks benefits to our customer. For prepaid, recharge of Rs 129 or above is required to avail Thanks benefits.

Q: Can I create my profile - album / special tunes/ profile through Wynk app?

A: Currently these features are not available on Wynk app

Q: I do not have Airtel mobile connection but am using Airtel broadband. Can I still set my HelloTunes from Wynk app?

A: Currently HelloTuness can be setup only on your Airtel mobile number

Q: How to check the status of HelloTunes?

A: Open the Wynk app > Go to the HelloTunes button > Status of the HelloTunes along with the validity will be mentioned on the screen.

Q: Will it get auto renewed?

A: No, the validity will not get auto renewed. However, you can extend the free validity through Wynk app.

Q: Why am I not getting HelloTunes of my choice?

Q: How to remove Pre tune/ msg playing before my song?

A: To remove Pre tune,

>Go to Wynk app

> Click on HelloTunes Management screen

> Click on the icon in the top card.

Q: How to deactivate / remove HelloTunes?

A: Go to HelloTunes Management screen. Click on the icon at the top card. You will get an option to “Stop HelloTunes”. Click on it to stop the HelloTunes service on your mobile number

Q: Is there any limit for number of times I can set/ change my HelloTunes?

A: No. There is no limit to changing the tune. You can do so as many times as you want absolutely free

Q: How can I set my HT for auto renewal?

A: Auto renewal feature is not available on free HelloTunes activated via Wynk app.

Q: Can I set HelloTunes in offline mode?

A: No. Setting up HelloTunes will require you to have an active internet connection

In case of plan downgrade or upgrade or segment change, if you re-subscribe for a course, the existing validity will be overwritten with the new validity as per your segment.

 

Q10) If I have an existing account with Shaw Academy, can I login using my existing credentials and avail the offer?

If you are already registered for Shaw Academy undergoing a course, you will have to re-register with an alternate email ID to avail Airtel Thanks benefit for another course.

 

However, in case you have a dormant registered account (i.e. registered for Shaw Academy with no active courses), you may use the same registration/email ID for availing the course benefits from Airtel Thanks.

 

Q11) What will happen once my free period expires?

Post the expiry of your free period offer, you can subscribe to other Shaw Academy courses through the Shaw Academy website or app.

 

Q12) Will I get a certificate once the course is completed?

Yes, you will get an electronic copy of your certificate upon course completion.

 

Q13) What is the cost of getting my certificate?

The cost for getting the electronic copy of your certificate is Rs. 1000. Once payment is completed for the certificate, you can download the same from your Shaw Academy account.

 

Q14) What is the cost of procuring diploma?

e-Diploma can be successfully procured after student successfully completes the end of module assignment. The cost for procuring e-diploma is Rs. 1000

 

Q15) Can I get hard copy of my certificate / diploma?

No, currently delivery of certificate and diploma is not available. However, you can download the soft copy of your certificate / diploma upon payment.

 

Q16) What will be the cost of the courses once my offer period is over?

For Airtel Thanks Gold members: Once you have taken the Free 4-week course, you can enrol other courses at a special 50% discounted price

Q22) I claimed the course but did not start it. Can I swap/change the course now?

No. Once a particular course has been claimed, it cannot be changed during the free period. If you are an Airtel Thanks Platinum customer, you can claim multiple courses.

 

Q23) Is this offer available for corporate self-paying customers (COIP)?

Yes. This offer is available for all self-paid customers.

Q6. What will happen on expiry of Rs. 349 recharge pack after 28 days?

The validity of both Amazon Prime benefits & Telco benefits is 28 days from Date of recharge, in above scenario the customer will be able to avail Amazon benefits for remaining 18 days only. Thus, it is highly recommended to claim Amazon Prime benefit on the date of recharge.

Q10. Is customer supposed to complete the claim journey every month on doing the 349 recharge?

No, once logged in, a customer can enjoy Amazon Prime benefits without re-login, as long as the customer is recharging with a Rs. 349 recharge within 90 days from the date of expiry of last 349 recharge, there is no need to login. In case there is a gap of more than 90 days within two 349 recharges, re-login is required.

There will be no impact on existing benefits till validity period of 28 days of existing pack. After expiry of 28 days, benefits of new pack will start and Amazon Prime membership benefit will cease to exist

 

Q19. What happens if a customer recharges with 349 more than once on same day?

The logic of accretive validity will be applied i.e. validity of both telco benefits & amazon Prime subscription validity will be added. e.g. if a customer recharges with twice customer will get 56 days of telco & amazon subscription benefits.
The maximum times this recharge will succeed is 6 times owing to the maximum validity of any pack capped at 180 days

 

Q20. Can a customer take this offer on multiple devices using same phone number?

You can take the offer only once for a phone number but can login into multiple devices

 

Q21. Customer is not an Airtel customer. Will he get this offer?

Please check whether customer has latest version of Airtel App, if not, update the App. If the customer has the latest App & still banner is not visible check for the receipt of Amazon Prime membership confirmation SMS. If problem still persists customer should contact Airtel Contact Center.

 

Q25. What is the SOP if customer has forgotten his Login ID?
