By purchasing prepaid Airtel Disney+Hotstar VIP subscription pack priced at Rs 401 (“Pack”), Customer would agree to following terms & conditions :

 
  1. Pack is being made available by Bharti Airtel Limited (Airtel) to only Airtel Prepaid Mobility subscribers in India .
  2. Pack can be activated by any active Airtel prepaid customer by recharging with Rs.401 recharge. This Pack will provide Airtel Prepaid Mobility
  3. subscribers Disney+ Hotstar VIP subscription for 1 year. Airtel will also make available 3gb of data for 28 days for such subscribers.
  4. Disney+ Hotstar VIP content access available on this Pack can only be claimed against the mobile number on which recharge is done.
  5. Disney+ Hotstar VIP content access will be activated after the recharge is done –By undertaking the Rs 401 Recharge, the customer (i.e. Airtel Prepaid Mobility subscribers) provides his express consent to pass his/her mobile number to Novi Digital Entertainment Private Limited (Novi) for Disney+ Hotstar VIP content access activation.
  6. This recharge will be available across all existing recharge channels – LAPU, Thank App, 3rd Parties on lines of a normal telco recharge.
  7. Customer will be able to recharge with this product only once in 360 days to avoid wrong selling & customer issues.
  8. The telco data benefits validity (28 days) & Disney+ Hotstar subscription validity (1 Year) are independent of each other – with only start date being same i.e. the date of recharge.
  9. Disney+ Hotstar VIP content access will continue even if a customer ports out of Airtel or migrates to Airtel postpaid or shifts to other prepaid plan during the validity of Disney+ Hotstar VIP subscription.
  10. Disney+ Hotstar VIP subscription purchased via Airtel will work independently of existing Disney+ Hotstar VIP subscription customer i.e the subscription validity is non accretive / non additive in nature
  11. The benefits under this recharge are non-transferable. No exchange or redemption for an equivalent cash amount or in any other form shall be allowed.
  12. This Pack cannot be used in conjunction with any other alternative offer or promotion of a similar nature. This Pack cannot be combined with any other offers on Disney+Hotstar.
  13. Any issues related to claims, issues, damages or losses with regards to the quality or functionality of the Disney+ Hotstar VIP content access should be escalated to Novi. Airtel will not be responsible for the Disney+ Hotstar VIP content access and content availability.. Novi will not be responsible or liable in case the Hotstar VIP content access is not configured or could not be availed due to malfunction, delay, traffic congestion on any telephone network or line, computer on-line system, servers or providers, computer equipment, software, or website
  14. Airtel will have no liability against any claims arising out of or in connection with the use of the Disney+ Hotstar VIP content or for any loss or damage of whatsoever nature caused to Eligible Subscriber or any third party in connection with the subsistence of the Disney+ Hotstar VIP content
  15. Airtel reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to modify these Terms & Conditions or any part thereof at any time without prior notice, if so required in view of business exigencies and/or guidelines issued / amended by TRAI, Department of Telecom (DOT) and/or such other statutory agency that changes applicable to Airtel, and the same shall be binding on the subscribers who have recharged under this offer. The customer shall also be bound by the Novi’s terms and conditions for access to Disney+Hotstar VIP Content as available on its [www.hotstar.com/in/terms-of-use]. Novi reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to modify the aforementioned terms & conditions or any part thereof at any time without prior notice, if so required in view of business exigencies and/or guidelines issued / amended by any statutory agency that changes applicable to Disney+ Hotstar, and the same shall be binding on the Airtel pre-paid subscribers who have recharged under this offer.

  18. Any dispute or claim (contractual or non-contractual) arising out of or in relation to this agreement, including disputes as to its formation, will be governed by and construed in accordance with Indian laws. Subject to the point above, Airtel and the customer submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of Courts at New Delhi alone.
  19. In addition to the limitations mentioned in this document, in no event will Airtel or our directors, managers, officers, employees, agents or other representatives be liable for any direct, indirect, special, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages, or any other damages of any kind, arising out of or related to this offer. Total liability, whether in contract, warranty, tort (including negligence) or otherwise, shall not exceed the last fee paid by the customer.

By purchasing Airtel Prepaid ZEE5 Pack, customer would agree to following terms & conditions:

  1. Airtel Prepaid ZEE5 pack is being made available by Bharti Airtel Limited (Airtel) to only Airtel Prepaid Mobility subscribers in India.
  1. Airtel Prepaid ZEE5 pack (Offer) can be activated by any active Airtel Prepaid customer by recharging their mobile number with the following price points:
    • 289 - This pack provides a customer unlimited voice calls, 1.5GB data per Day, 100 SMS per day and subscription to ZEE5 for a period of 28 days
  1. Post recharge, the customer needs to “claim” ZEE5 by downloading Airtel Thanks app on their smartphone, tapping ZEE5 Banner on home page of app or by going into the “Discover airtelThanks” section and completing the login journey thereon through the ZEE5 website. A customer can claim the offer solely from the Airtel Thanks app. Without this claim a customer will be unable to use ZEE5 services.
  1. The validity both aforementioned packs is for 28 days from date of recharge and not from the date of claim.
  1. ZEE5 subscription can only be claimed against the mobile number on which recharge was performed.

Airtel Xstream Fiber Plus

Terms and conditions on which the customer agrees to avail Airtel Xstream Fiber Plus service of Airtel, provisioning of Airtel equipment and installation thereof for effective receipt and enjoyment of service.

Words and expressions defined here-under shall carry the special meaning ascribed to it, unless the context demands a different construction:

1. Definitions:

  1. "Commencement Date" means the date of installation and activation of Airtel Xstream Fiber Plus Device.
  2. "Customer" means any person who applies or subscribes to or utilises the Service.
  3. "Service" means the Airtel Xstream Fiber Plus service using devices to help extend WiFi coverage within the home.  It includes any related software provided by Airtel and downloaded to the Customer's computers or devices, as well as any future versions, improvements, developments, programming fixes, updates and upgrades thereto, and any documentation therefore in any form.
  4. "Airtel" means Bharti Airtel Ltd.
  5. “Airtel Equipment” means equipment provided by Airtel to the customer as extension of Airtel Xstream Fiber to Customer’s premise and includes the following devices
    - Huawei WA8021V5
    - Linksys Velop Triband

2. The following terms and conditions shall be incorporated by reference:

  1. General Terms and Conditions of Service (available at: https://www.Airtel.in/mobile/terms-conditions) ("the General Terms");
  2. Specific Terms and Conditions for Airtel Xstream Fiber (available at: https://www.Airtel.in/mobile/terms-conditions); and
  3. Specific Terms and Conditions of Airtel Value Added Service (available at: https://www.Airtel.in/mobile/terms-conditions).

3. In the event of any conflict or inconsistency between any provision of these Airtel Xstream Fiber Plus Terms and the General Terms, the former shall prevail.

2: Subscription Fee, Charges and Termination of Service

  1. A prevailing subscription fee shall apply. The Subscription Fee includes internet access subscription charges and other fees chargeable by Airtel.
  2. Each subscription of the Service is tied to a purchase of a Airtel Xstream Fiber Plus package from Airtel at an amount to be determined by Airtel from time to time. The model of the Airtel Xstream Fiber Plus device being offered will be based on the subscription chosen by the customer. Airtel reserves the right to choose the Airtel Xstream Fiber Plus device model getting bundled with a specific subscription plan. While Airtel will do its best to keep the specifications and its implied functionality to be consistent, the form and model of the Airtel Xstream Fiber Plus device may change from time to time. Additional installation charges apply should Customer require installation assistance on additional devices.
  3.  Airtel Equipment:  Airtel Xstream Fiber Plus device system comes in a unit package of two (2) devices, which will only be offered ensemble. An annual charge for first year applies, post which the customer will have an option to continue with same annual plan or upgrade to another annual plan or move to monthly plans. The installation TAT could take up to 48 hours.
  4. If the Customer terminates the subscription prior to two (2) years or downgrades the rental plan within one (1) year of purchase, the customer shall be liable to return the Airtel Equipment. Airtel reserves the right to recover the Airtel Xstream Fiber Plus device immediately and will do so. The Customer agrees to fully cooperate during the entire reverse logistics process.

3. Eligibility for the Service and Registration for the Service

  1. The requirements for eligibility for the Service are as follows if customer wishes to purchase Airtel Xstream Fiber Plus Package on an annual recurring charge: (a) Customer must be an Indian citizen or Permanent Resident in India holding a valid identity proof; and (b) Customer must be an existing or new Airtel Xstream Fiber subscriber.
  2. The Customer acknowledges and agrees that: (a) The Customer has provided all information Airtel requires in connection with his registration and application for the Service and that all such information, is accurate and complete; and (b) The Customer shall maintain and update the said information promptly so as to ensure its accuracy at all times.

4. License and Restrictions

  1. The Service is provided to the Customer for the Customer's personal use only, and the Customer shall use the Service solely for lawful purposes. In this respect the Customer may not, without limitation:
  • expose any third party to material which is offensive, harmful to minors, indecent or otherwise objectionable in any way;
  • use the Service to cause or intend to cause embarrassment or distress to, or to threaten, harass or invade the privacy of, any third party; or
  • use any material or content that is subject to any third party proprietary rights, unless you have a license or permission from the owner of such rights.
  • Service shall not be accessed outside the installation address and the installation address shall be only in India.
  • Nothing contained herein shall be deemed to grant the customer either directly or by implication, any right, by license or otherwise, in respect of any Intellectual Property, including in any software concepts, know-how, processes, development tools, techniques or any other proprietary material or information that it may provide the customer in the course of provision of Service.
  1. The Service is licensed, not sold. The Customer shall not:
  • sell, lease, sublicense, rent, loan, resell or otherwise transfer the Service with or without consideration;
  • reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the Service, except to the extent the foregoing restriction is expressly prohibited by applicable law;
  • modify or create derivative works based upon the Service in whole or in part;
  • copy the Service except as expressly permitted herein;
  • permit third parties to benefit from the use or functionality of the Service via a timesharing, service bureau or other arrangement; and remove any proprietary notices or labels on the Service.
  1. Airtel may need to amend the Service from time to time (including but not limited to introducing new applications and modifying the user interface) without prior notice to the Customer.
  2. The Customer shall, when required by Airtel or any regulatory authorities assist Airtel and the regulatory authorities in any investigation relating to the Service.
  3. The Service may be incorporated into, and may itself incorporate, software and other technology owned and controlled by third parties. Any such third party software or technology that is incorporated in the Service falls under the scope of these Airtel Xstream Fiber Plus Package Terms.

5. Ownership Rights

  1. Airtel and its suppliers own and retain all right, title and interest in and to the Service, including all copyrights, patents, trade secret rights, trademarks and other intellectual property rights therein. The Customer's possession or use of the Service shall not transfer to the Customer any title to the intellectual property in the Service, and the Customer shall not acquire any rights to the Service except as expressly set forth in these Airtel Xstream Fiber Plus Package Terms. Any copy of the Service authorized to be made hereunder must contain the same proprietary notices that appear on and in the Service. To the extent the Customer provides any comments or suggestions to Airtel, Airtel shall have the right to retain and use any such comments or suggestions regarding the Service in current or future products or services, without further compensation to the Customer or without the Customer's approval.
  2. The Airtel equipment shall remain the sole property of Airtel and must be kept by customer in good and working condition. Customer confirms that he/she shall return Airtel equipment to Airtel in working condition on deactivation of Service or termination of Service and or if the customer chooses to downgrade the plan in the first year of Airtel Xstream Fiber Plus plan subscription. Airtel may remove and/or take back Airtel equipment, without any notice, on deactivation of Service or disconnection or termination of relationship or if the customer chooses to downgrade the plan in the first year of Airtel Xstream Fiber Plus plan subscription . Customer confirms that he/she shall not acquire any right, title or interest in Airtel equipment. Customer acknowledges that Airtel equipment has been provided to him/her for the sole purpose of enjoying the Service. Airtel equipment shall not be removed from the installation address without the consent of Airtel. Any sign or label or logo or mark signifying Airtel’s ownership of Airtel equipment shall not be removed.
  3. Customer undertakes not to hypothecate, transfer or create any charge, lien or any other liability in respect of Airtel equipment. Customer shall immediately inform Airtel about loss of Airtel equipment and Airtel may charge the customer for damages and/or administrative costs for providing replacement Airtel equipment. Any damage or defect to Airtel equipment arising out of misuse or intentional damage or accidental damage or Force Majeure event shall be to the customer account. Airtel does not warrant that Airtel equipment will be free from all or any defects or faults beyond the period of one year from the date of installation.

6. Warranty and Disclaimer

  1. The Service is provided "as is" and Airtel makes no warranty as to its use or performance. Except for any warranty, condition, representation or term the extent to which cannot be excluded or limited by applicable law, Airtel, its suppliers, and authorized partners make no warranty, condition, representation, or term (express or implied, whether by statute, common law, custom, usage or otherwise) as to any matter including, without limitation, non-infringement of third party rights, merchantability, satisfactory quality, integration, or fitness for a particular purpose. Airtel does not warrant that the Service will satisfy the Customer's requirements or that the Service will be uninterrupted or error-free or that defects in the Service will be corrected or that the Service will not damage or interfere with other services or features of any device or equipment used by the Customer for the Service.
  2. In the event of physical damage to the device, Airtel and its service partners reserve the right to decide if the product is eligible for the warranty. In case of failure of warranty, the customer may not be provided with any service regarding the Airtel Xstream Fiber Plus.

7. Limitation of Liability

  1. The Customer acknowledges and accepts that Airtel:
  • expressly excludes any guarantee, representation, warranty, condition, term or undertaking of any kind, express or implied, statutory or otherwise or any representations or warranties arising from usage or custom or trade or by operation of law, including (without limitation) as to the sequence, originality, correctness, completeness, accuracy, timelines, completeness, currency, non-infringement, merchantability or fitness for any particular purpose in relation to the Service;
  • shall not be liable to the Customer for any loss, liability, costs, damage, claim or compensation whatsoever (whether direct, indirect or consequential) in respect of any matter of whatever nature and howsoever arising (whether in tort, negligence or otherwise) in connection with the provision and/or use of the Service; and
  • to the fullest extent permitted by law exclude all warranties, rights and remedies (including warranties implied by statute or otherwise) that the Customer would otherwise be entitled to by law.

8. Force Majeure:

Airtel shall not be liable for any failure to perform its obligations delineated herein, where such failure is because of reasons beyond the control of Airtel, which may include but not limited to Acts of Nature(including fire, flood, earthquake, storm, hurricane or other natural disasters), theft, robbery, war, invasion, act of foreign enemies, hostilities (whether war is declared or not), civil war, rebellion, revolution, insurrection, military or usurped power or confiscation, terrorist activities, nationalization, government sanction, blockage, embargo, labour dispute, strike, lockout or interruption or failure of electricity [or telephone service], rainfall, failure of communications, failure of equipment, transmission loss or fault due to atmospheric conditions (including geographic, topographical, hydrological or environmental etc.). Customer confirms and acknowledges that during any of the events mentioned in this clause, Airtel will be excused from providing Service to the customer and customer shall not claim performance of any of the obligations which may remain suspended during the continuance of such Force

9. Choice of Law:

The terms and conditions shall be governed by the laws of India.

10. General

  1. These Airtel Xstream Fiber Plus Package Terms set forth all rights for the Customer in relation to use of the Service and contains the entire agreement between the parties. These Airtel Xstream Fiber Plus Package Terms supersedes any other communications, representations or advertising relating to the Service.
  2. No provision hereof shall be deemed waived unless such waiver shall be in writing and signed by Airtel. If any provision of these Airtel Xstream Fiber Plus Package Terms is held invalid, the remainder of these Airtel Xstream Fiber Plus Package Terms shall continue in full
  3. Airtel reserves the right to alter, modify, add to or otherwise vary these Terms from time to time in such manner as Airtel deems appropriate. The Customer shall be bound by the terms and conditions so amended. In any event, if the Customer continues to use the Service after such amendment, the Customer shall be deemed to have accepted the amendments.

Airtel reserves the right to update the FAQs without prior notice. All information is correct at the point of publication.

Superhero Program Enrollment Terms & Conditions

1. Background:

In the backdrop of the unprecedented situation that the world is facing owing to Covid-19, Bharti Airtel Limited / Bharti Hexacom Limited (‘Airtel’) have temporarily launched the ‘Superhero Program’ (‘Program’) effective April 1, 2020 (‘Effective Date’).

 

Commencing from May 14, 2020 (“DTH Effective Date”), Bharti Telemedia Limited (“Telemedia”) will temporarily join in the ‘Superhero Program’ to extend benefits for Airtel DTH recharges under the Program.

 

2. Program:

A person eligible to enroll under the Program, may upon enrolling under the Program will be eligible to earn an amount equivalent to 4% of the recharge value on every pre-paid online Airtel recharge (‘Recharge’) and 2% of the recharge value on every online Airtel DTH recharge (‘DTH Recharge’) facilitated by him / her (‘Superhero’), subject to the terms and conditions stipulated hereunder. Airtel pre-paid mobile customers and/or Telemedia’s Airtel DTH customers (‘Customers’) may, inter alia, contact Superhero through call or SMS to seek assistance with Recharge and/or DTH Recharge. The DTH Recharge benefit will only be available to person enrolling in the Program on or after the DTH Effective Date.

 

3. Eligibility:

In order to be enrolled as a Superhero, a person must fulfil the following criteria:

  • Such person must be a registered Airtel Thanks App user.
  • He / she must have attained the age of 18 years.
 

4. Term:

This Program has commenced on the Effective Date and unless extended by Airtel, shall continue for a period until situation arisen due to Covid-19 resumes to normal or June 30, 2020, whichever is earlier.

 

For DTH recharges, the Program shall commence on the DTH Effective Date and unless extended by Telemedia, shall continue for a period until situation arisen due to Covid-19 resumes to normal or June 30, 2020, whichever is earlier.

 

5. Governing Terms and Conditions:

  • Superhero shall act as a collection agent on behalf of Airtel/Telemedia for the limited purpose of rendition of collection of payment services from the Customers, under the Program.
  • Superhero represents and warrants that the information provided by him / her in the enrollment form are correct, accurate and no material fact or information has been concealed therefrom.
  • Superhero further represents, warrants and covenants that he / she shall, at all times, adhere to all applicable laws.
  • Superhero acknowledges and agrees that his / her participation under the Program is completely voluntary on his part as well as on the part of Customer. Superheroes’ ability to facilitate the Recharges/DTH Recharges and thereby earn the designated percentage shall be solely dependent on his / her own outreach and Customer reposing his / her trust on the Superhero.
  • This Program is valid only for pre-paid Airtel mobile recharges and Airtel DTH recharges.
  • Airtel/Telemedia may encourage Customers who may need assistance with Recharges or DTH Recharges, to contact Superheroes through systems set-up by Airtel/Telemedia, as the case may be.
  • Superhero shall not be able to avail the benefit under the Program on any Recharge on a mobile number registered in his name and on any DTH Recharge on a DTH Customer ID or mobile number registered in his name.
  • This Program shall be valid in whole of India except the territory falling under Jammu and Kashmir.
  • Except otherwise as specifically stated herein, no commitment, assurance, guarantee etc., of any kind whatsoever has been given by Airtel/Telemedia to Superhero. The earnings by Superhero are completely dependent on the number of Recharges and/or DTH Recharges being facilitated by Superhero, which in any event shall not exceed INR 15,000 per annum cumulatively for Recharges and DTH Recharges facilitated by such Superhero. Any Recharges and/or DTH Recharges over and above INR 15,000 annually shall not be entitled to the benefit under this Program.
  • Any taxes, duties, levies etc., whether current or future, on the amount earned by the Superhero under the Program shall be solely borne by the Superhero.
  • Any and all information that becomes accessible to Superhero by virtue of this Program including but not limited to the mobile number and DTH Customer ID of Customers shall be treated as ‘confidential information’ and Superhero represents, warrants and covenants that it shall not use such confidential information for any purpose other than in furtherance of its obligation of Recharge or DTH Recharge for such Customers.
  • Airtel/Telemedia disclaims any and all liability including but not limited to any minimum commitment.
  • Superhero shall at no time represent himself / herself as an employee of Airtel/Telemedia.
  • Superhero further represents, warrants and covenants that it shall use its own payment instruments for the purposes of Recharge or DTH Recharge and shall not obtain any information and / or use and / or disseminate information, whether directly or indirectly, in relation to the payment instruments of the Customers or any other third party. Superhero further acknowledges and agrees that any payment received directly through Customers’ payment instruments shall not be entitled for the demarcated earnings for Superhero and Airtel/Telemedia shall, at all times, will have the right to reverse / recover such payments made to Superhero.
  • Superhero shall not do or commit any act that has not been authorized specifically under these terms and conditions (‘T&Cs’). Superhero shall not make any commitments nor commit any fraud and / or make any misrepresentation to the Customer or anyone else, for that matter.
  • Superhero represents, warrants and covenants that all risk under the Program shall be the sole responsibility of the Superhero. Superhero shall be solely responsible for collection of Recharge amount or DTH Recharge amount from the Customer. Airtel/Telemedia bears no responsibility in respect of any loss of monies for the reasons of Superhero’s failure in collection of the Recharge amount or DTH Recharge Amount from the Customer.
  • The Program is valid only in India, specified by Airtel/Telemedia from time to time.
  • Airtel/Telemedia shall be entitled to postpone, suspend, modify or cancel the Program or any aspect thereof, across the entire territories of service or any part thereof, at any time with or without notice, for any reason, including, but not limited to, acts of God, force majeure, technical difficulties, or any other reasons beyond Airtel’s or Telemedia’s reasonable control. If Airtel/Telemedia suspends or cancels the Program, all aspects of the Program shall be null and void. Airtel/Telemedia will not be liable to compensate Superhero for any postponement or cancellation or for any reason directly or indirectly arising out of this Program.

  1. About the Offer

Bharti Airtel Limited (‘Airtel’) is facilitating the offer to its’ Eligible Subscribers wherein the prepaid subscribers of Airtel mobile services subscribing to a specified monthly STV will be provided a monthly life insurance cover of INR 4,00,000/- only, subject to adherence to the terms and conditions specified hereinafter.

  1. Definitions:

All capitalized terms used in this Customer T&Cs have the meaning ascribed to them as here under.

  • Insurer’ means HDFC Life Insurance Company Limited.
  • Insurance’ means life insurance cover of INR 4,00,000/- provided to a Scheme Member subject to the terms and conditions detailed in the Insurance Policy.
  • Insurance Policy’ means the terms and conditions and processes specified by the Insurer for availing the Insurance.
  • Customer T&Cs’ means this document agreed between Airtel and You, as amended from time to time and the terms and conditions mentioned herein for You availing the Offer.
  • Device(s)’ means mobile handsets specified by Airtel from time to time.
  • Subscriber’ means Airtel’s pre-paid mobile subscriber in whose name the Airtel SIM is registered and subscribes to the STV.
  • ‘Scheme Member’ / ‘You’ / ‘Your’ means a Subscriber who meets Eligibility Criteria for issuance of Insurance Policy and is issued a COI.

  • Offer’ means Insurance for Subscriber(s).
  • Eligibility Criteria’ means the Subscriber who falls within the prescribed age limit of 18 years to 54 years and such other criteria as may be specified by the Insurer from time to time, at its sole discretion.
  1. The Offer shall be valid only in India or in the geographies within India, specified by Airtel from time to time.
  2. You shall be able to avail the Offer only till the time ‘You’ continue to be an Airtel Subscriber subscribing to the specified STV and recharging it every month on or before the expiry of the validity period. The insurance shall be co-terminus with the validity of each recharge period.
  3. You acknowledge and agree that any claim pertaining to the Insurance shall lie with Insurer and Airtel shall have no liability towards Insurance and / or its’ claim including but not limited to its approval or rejection or any dispute or difference arising therefrom.

You categorically absolve Airtel of any liability towards the same and agree to indemnify and hold Airtel and its directors, officers, employees, agents and consultants against any damage, claim, cost, loss, compensation, action, liability, legal proceedings (including reasonable Attorney fees), orders, directions etc. (collectively, ‘Claims’) suffered or incurred by Airtel with respect to the Offer.

You acknowledge that the link of the Airtel's Customer T&Cs applicable to this Offer and Insurer's Insurance Policy applicable for availing the Insurance have been made available to You by way of an SMS link. The same are also hosted on www.airtel.in/tnc or on Airtel Thanks App as updated by Airtel or Insurer from time to time. You understand, acknowledge and agree that Insurance Policy is a contract between You and the Insurer and You shall be bound by the terms and conditions of the Insurance policy specified by the Insurer from time to time. You confirm the correctness and authenticity of the information and documents provided by You to Airtel.

You may manage nominee, address and other details either directly through Your Airtel Thanks App or through any authorized Airtel Retailer.

 
  1. Inaccurate information shared by way of CAF, Documentation, claim form as against the information gathered during the investigation in relation to the Scheme Member shall lead to repudiation of Insurance claim(s).
  2. Your Insurance shall expire the day You turn 55 years of age.
  3. If You are a Subscriber of two (2) or more Airtel pre-paid connections, Your maximum Insurance cover will be INR 4,00,000/- and You shall not be eligible to make Insurance claims over and above INR 4,00,000/-.
  4. You are advised to keep the nominee details updated at all times in the form and manner required.
  5. Claims arising out of incorrect data regardless of intentional or unintentional errors committed by the Scheme Members, will not be payable by the Insurer. The Insurer shall have the right to investigate claims and also check for accuracy and authenticity of the information provided at the time of submitting the claim.
  6. Scheme Member may approach to any nearby HDFC Life branch or as per the modes described in Insurance Policy for policy servicing requests like change in address, contact details & nominee and for submitting the cancelation requests.
  7. This Offer is available to Airtel subscribers only and cannot be used along with services provided by any other telecommunications service provider in India.

  9. All applicable taxes on STV shall be borne and payable by You.

  • Policy is valid for Indian citizens who have done an Airtel Recharge with insurance benefit and are aged between 18-54 years at the time of Insurance activation. Policy will be issued in the name of the individual as registered with Airtel. The insurance benefit shall not be applicable for connections in the name of non-individual entities.
  • This policy is offered by HDFC Life Insurance Co. Ltd. and covers benefit of INR 4 lakhs for death (except suicide) for a period of 1 year if continuously recharged with the same Airtel Recharge. In case of successful claim, the payout would be made to the Nominee / Legal heir.

a) HDFC Life reserves the right to repudiate/restrict the claim if Policy terms and condition are not met.

b) Claims shall be settled only after obtaining the all required claim documents raised by insurer.

  • Customer shall receive the policy certificate directly on his/her mobile no. registered with Airtel on which the Airtel recharge has been activated.
  • Sum assured per SIM would be restricted to INR 4,00,000/- (Indian Rupees Four Lakhs only).
  • In case the member is holding multiple SIM cards and insurance is activated on all such cards, maximum Sum Assured payable at the time of death claim will not exceed INR 4,00,000/- (Indian Rupees Four Lakhs only) in any case
  • The Insurance policy is a contract between HDFC Life Insurance Co. Ltd. and the customer. The customer should reach out to HDFC Life Insurance Co. Ltd. for any issues and claims
  • Claim Intimation from the Nominee must reach within thirty (30) days from the date of demise of the Scheme Member in the format prescribed below should reach Insurer HO/Branch.

Claims

Basic Documentation for death claims:

1. Death certificate issued by the Government / Municipal authority under section 12/17 of the Registration of Birth and Death Act 1969.

  • HO Insurer checks the required documents submitted by the nominee/legal heir as per the check list of insurance company and proceeds for claims settlement.
  • Claim Amount is settled in favour of nominee/legal heir. The Claim amount is transferred via fund transfer/NEFT to the bank account.
  • Claims arising out of incorrect data regardless of intentional or unintentional errors committed by the Scheme Members, will not be payable by the Insurer. Moreover, the Insurer will have the right to investigate claims and also check for accuracy of the information provided at the time of claims. The rights available to the Insurer under this clause will be subject to regulations/ guidelines issued by IRDAI from time to time.
  • Inaccurate information detected in the claim form against the information as gathered during the investigation in relation to a Scheme Member will lead to repudiation of claims.
  • Payment of Death Benefit: Entire payout will be processed only in favour of nominee/legal heirs through NEFT only.
  • Except for COI issuance, please note that all requests received post 3pm, the date of receipt shall be considered to be the next working day.
  • As per the IRDAI (Protection of Policyholders' Interests) Regulations, claims are to be paid or be rejected or repudiated giving all the relevant reasons within 30 days from the date of receipt of all relevant papers and clarifications. In the event the claim requires further investigation in the opinion of the Insurer, the same shall be initiated at the earliest and the investigation shall be completed expeditiously, in any case not later than 90 days from the receipt of claim intimation and the claim shall be settled within 30 days thereafter. In the event the above mentioned TAT is crossed, due to delay on the part of the Insurer, interest on the claim amount which is 2% above the bank rate from the date of receipt of the last necessary document.
  • 2% interest above the bank rate shall be calculated from the date of receipt of the last necessary document excluding Early Claims which will require investigation. For Early cases requiring investigation, the overall TAT 90 days or lower as per regulation shall be applicable as on date. Three years from policy issuance or reinstatement whichever is later shall be the determining factor for deciding the case, whether it is either Early or Non Early.
  • I agree that all the declarations provided above will be valid for all the future Insurance policies of HDFC Life issued against the specified Airtel recharge with insurance benefit for a period of 12 months from the date of acceptance of these T&C's.

  1. About the Offer

Bharti Airtel Limited (‘Airtel’) is facilitating the offer to its’ Eligible Subscribers wherein the prepaid subscribers of Airtel mobile services subscribing to a specified monthly STV will be provided a monthly life insurance cover of INR 2,00,000/- only, subject to adherence to the terms and conditions specified hereinafter.

  1. Definitions:

All capitalized terms used in this Customer T&Cs have the meaning ascribed to them as here under.

  • Insurer’ means Bharti Axa Life Insurance Company Limited.
  • Insurance’ means life insurance cover of INR 2,00,000/- provided to a Scheme Member subject to the terms and conditions detailed in the Insurance Policy.
  • Insurance Policy’ means the terms and conditions and processes specified by the Insurer for availing the Insurance.

  • ‘COI’ means Certificate of Insurance issued by the Insurer to the Scheme Member.
  • STV’ means special pre-paid Airtel mobile telecommunications tariff voucher specified by Airtel as stated in Annexure – I or as specified from time to time, at its sole discretion.
  • Offer’ means Insurance for Subscriber(s).
  • Eligibility Criteria’ means the Subscriber who falls within the prescribed age limit of 18 years to 54 years and such other criteria as may be specified by the Insurer from time to time, at its sole discretion.
  1. The Offer shall be valid only in India or in the geographies within India, specified by Airtel from time to time.
  2. You shall be able to avail the Offer only till the time ‘You’ continue to be an Airtel Subscriber subscribing to the specified STV and recharging it every month on or before the expiry of the validity period. The insurance shall be co-terminus with the validity of each recharge period.
  3. You acknowledge and agree that any claim pertaining to the Insurance shall lie with Insurer and Airtel shall have no liability towards Insurance and / or its’ claim including but not limited to its approval or rejection or any dispute or difference arising therefrom.
  4. You categorically absolve Airtel of any liability towards the same and agree to indemnify and hold Airtel and its directors, officers, employees, agents and consultants against any damage, claim, cost, loss, compensation, action, liability, legal proceedings (including reasonable Attorney fees), orders, directions etc. (collectively, ‘Claims’) suffered or incurred by Airtel with respect to the Offer.
  5. You acknowledge that the link of the Airtel's Customer T&Cs applicable to this Offer and Insurer's Insurance Policy applicable for availing the Insurance have been made available to You by way of an SMS link. The same are also hosted on www.airtel.in/tnc or on Airtel Thanks App as updated by Airtel or Insurer from time to time. You understand, acknowledge and agree that Insurance Policy is a contract between You and the Insurer and You shall be bound by the terms and conditions of the Insurance policy specified by the Insurer from time to time. You further acknowledge and agree that Airtel does not have any control in respect of the terms and conditions specified by Insurer in respect of the Insurance.   1. Registration process

In order to avail the Offer and benefits thereunder, You must recharge and maintain the select STV. Subject to You fulfilling the Eligibility Criteria, the Insurer shall activate the Insurance.

By opting to this STV, You authorize Airtel to share such details / information about You (basis the information filled by You in Customer Acquisition Form (CAF) and documents such as your age, Proof of Identity, Proof of Address etc. (‘Documentation’)) as may be required by the Insurer for purposes of activation, reactivation and / or renewal of the Insurance. You also authorize Airtel to store your nominee details provided for Insurance purposes and address given by you for purposes of delivery of Certificate of Insurance and share the same with the Insurer for purposes of activation, reactivation and renewal of the Insurance. You confirm the correctness and authenticity of the information and documents provided by You to Airtel.

You may manage nominee, address and other details either directly through Your Airtel Thanks App or through any authorized Airtel Retailer.

 
  1. Inaccurate information shared by way of CAF, Documentation, claim form as against the information gathered during the investigation in relation to the Scheme Member shall lead to repudiation of Insurance claim(s).
  2. Your Insurance shall expire the day You turn 55 years of age.
  3. If You are a Subscriber of two (2) or more Airtel pre-paid connections, Your maximum Insurance cover will be INR 2,00,000/- and You shall not be eligible to make Insurance claims over and above INR 2,00,000/-.
  4. You are advised to keep the nominee details updated at all times in the form and manner required.
  5. Claims arising out of incorrect data regardless of intentional or unintentional errors committed by the Scheme Members, will not be payable by the Insurer. The Insurer shall have the right to investigate claims and also check for accuracy and authenticity of the information provided at the time of submitting the claim.
  6. Scheme Member may approach to any nearby Bharti Axa Life branch or as per the modes described in Insurance Policy for policy servicing requests like change in address, contact details & nominee and for submitting the cancelation requests.
  7. This Offer is available to Airtel subscribers only and cannot be used along with services provided by any other telecommunications service provider in India.
  8. This Offer cannot be combined with any other offer provided by Airtel.
  9. All applicable taxes on STV shall be borne and payable by You.
  10. These Customer T&Cs shall constitute an agreement between Airtel and You and by opting to the Offer, You accept the same as binding upon You.
  11. The terms and conditions of usage of telecommunication services of Airtel, shall continue to be applicable upon You as a user of Airtel pre-paid mobile services.
  12. Airtel shall be entitled to postpone, suspend, modify or cancel the Offer or any aspect thereof, across the entire territories of service or any part thereof, at any time with or without notice, for any reason, including, but not limited to, acts of God, force majeure, technical difficulties, or any other reasons beyond Airtel’s reasonable control. If Airtel suspends or cancels the Offer, all aspects of the Offer shall be null and void. Airtel will not be liable to compensate You for any postponement or cancellation or for any reason directly or indirectly arising out of this Offer.

  15. The Customer T&Cs do not constitute any general representation from Airtel regarding Airtel’s mobile services or its availability. Airtel’s network and the provision of the Offer is available on an ‘as is where is available’ basis and Airtel makes no representation, guarantee or warranty regarding the availability, fitness for any specified purpose or error free operation of the network. Network availability may be affected due to various reasons including force majeure, acts of god, inclement weather, topographical/ geographic/ demographic factors, maintenance work, availability of interconnection with other networks, etc.
  16. Any dispute or claim (contractual or non-contractual) arising out of or in relation to this Customer T&Cs, will be governed by and construed in accordance with Indian laws. Airtel and the Scheme Member submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of Courts at New Delhi alone.
  17. You agree that these Customer T&Cs will be valid for the entire duration of the validity of the STV and Your Insurance policy or policies, as the case may be, issued to You under the Offer.

Bharti AXA Life Insurance - Terms & Conditions

  • Policy is applicable with Airtel Recharge and meeting age boundary condition of 18-54 yrs at the time of Insurance activation. Policy will be issued in the name of the individual as registered with Airtel.
  • This policy is offered by Bharti AXA Life Insurance Co. Ltd. and covers benefit of INR 2 lakhs for death (except suicide) for a period of 1 year if continuously recharged with the same Airtel Recharge with complementary Insurance. In case of successful claim, the payout would be made to the Nominee / Legal heir.
  • Customer shall receive the policy certificate directly on his/her mobile no. registered with Airtel on which the Airtel recharge with complementary Insurance has been activated.
  • Sum assured per SIM would be restricted to INR 2,00,000/- (Indian Rupees Two Lakhs only).
  • In case the member is holding multiple sim cards and insurance is activated on all such cards, maximum Sum Assured payable at the time of death claim will not exceed INR 2,00,000/- (Indian Rupees Two Lakhs only) in any case

As per Section 41 of the Insurance Act, 1938 (as amended from time to time)

“(1) No person shall allow or offer to allow, either directly or indirectly, as an inducement to any person to take out or renew or continue an insurance in respect of any kind of risk relating to lives or property in India, any rebate of the whole or part of the commission payable or any rebate of the premium shown on the policy, nor shall any person taking out or renewing or continuing a policy accept any rebate, except such rebate as may be allowed in accordance with the published prospectuses or tables of the insurer:

Provided that acceptance by an insurance agent of commission in connection with a policy of life insurance taken out by himself on his own life shall not be deemed to be acceptance of a rebate of premium within the meaning of this sub-section if at the time of such acceptance the insurance agent satisfies the prescribed conditions establishing that he is a bona fide insurance agent employed by the insurer.

(2) Any person making default in complying with the provisions of this section shall be liable for a penalty which may extend to ten lakh rupees.

SECTION 45 OF INSURANCE ACT 1938 as amended from time to time

Fraud, Misrepresentation and forfeiture would be dealt with in accordance with provisions of Sec 45 of the Insurance Act 1938 as amended from time to time. [A simplified version of the provisions of Section 45 is mentioned below for reference] 

Provisions regarding policy not being called into question in terms of Section 45 of the Insurance Act, 1938, as amended from time to time

  1. No Policy of Life Insurance shall be called in question on any ground whatsoever after expiry of 3 yrs from
  • the date of issuance of policy or
  • the date of commencement of risk or
  • the date of revival of policy or
  • the date of rider to the policy
    whichever is later.
  1. On the ground of fraud, a policy of Life Insurance may be called in question within 3 years from
  • the date of issuance of policy or
  • the date of commencement of risk or
  • the date of revival of policy or
  • the date of rider to the policy
    whichever is later.

For this, the insurer should communicate in writing to the insured or legal representative or nominee or assignees of insured, as applicable, mentioning the ground and materials on which such decision is based.

  1. Fraud means any of the following acts committed by insured or by his agent, with the intent to deceive the insurer or to induce the insurer to issue a life insurance policy:
  • The suggestion, as a fact of that which is not true and which the insured does not believe to be true;
  • The active concealment of a fact by the insured having knowledge or belief of the fact;
  • Any other act fitted to deceive; and
  • Any such act or omission as the law specifically declares to be fraudulent.
  1. Mere silence is not fraud unless, depending on circumstances of the case, it is the duty of the insured or his agent keeping silence to speak or silence is in itself equivalent to speak.
  1. No Insurer shall repudiate a life insurance Policy on the ground of Fraud, if the Insured / beneficiary can prove that the misstatement was true to the best of his knowledge and there was no deliberate intention to suppress the fact or that such mis-statement of or suppression of material fact are within the knowledge of the insurer. Onus of disproving is upon the policyholder, if alive, or beneficiaries.
  1. Life insurance Policy can be called in question within 3 years on the ground that any statement of or suppression of a fact material to expectancy of life of the insured was incorrectly made in the proposal or other document basis which policy was issued or revived or rider issued. For this, the insurer should communicate in writing to the insured or legal representative or nominee or assignees of insured, as applicable, mentioning the ground and materials on which decision to repudiate the policy of life insurance is based.
  1. In case repudiation is on ground of mis-statement and not on fraud, the premium collected on policy till the date of repudiation shall be paid to the insured or legal representative or nominee or assignees of insured, within a period of 90 days from the date of repudiation.
  1. Fact shall not be considered material unless it has a direct bearing on the risk undertaken by the insurer. The onus is on insurer to show that if the insurer had been aware of the said fact, no life insurance policy would have been issued to the insured.
  1. The insurer can call for proof of age at any time if he is entitled to do so and no policy shall be deemed to be called in question merely because the terms of the policy are adjusted on subsequent proof of age of life insured. So, this Section will not be applicable for questioning age or adjustment based on proof of age submitted subsequently.

Claims Procedure:

  • Age proof of the insured: Since the policy is issued basis date of birth declared by the insured at the time of opting for the policy, to validate the actual age of the insured, Bharti AXA Life will be calling for age proof of the insured at the claims stage. If the age of the insured is found to be outside the permissible age bracket of 18-55 yrs, such claim would be repudiated.
  • Nominee details: For cases where nominee details are not available, Bharti AXA Life would need a valid legal document (like succession certificate issued by court) to decide on the legal heirs of the life insured and payee for the claim benefit. Getting such document is a tedious and lengthy process and hence, claim process for such cases would be delayed (till receipt of such document).
  • Sum assured per SIM would be restricted to INR 2,00,000/- (Indian Rupees Two Lakhs only)
  • In case the member is holding multiple sim cards and insurance is activated on all such cards, maximum Sum Assured payable at the time of death claim will not exceed INR 2,00,000/- (Indian Rupees Two Lakhs only) in any case.

15. Fast Billing Terms and Conditions

2. FAST BILLING passes will be available on www.bigbazaar.com on first come first serve basis only

 

3. Number of FAST Billing passes would be limited.

 

4. One slot booking per customer.

  • For new connection, First Recharge Coupon (FRC) is mandatory for activation.
  • It is mandatory to do a recharge with a voucher of Minimum Rs. 45 or above to avail services post tariff validity period. In case of recharge with PV-45 or top-up vouchers greater than Rs. 45 service validity will be extended by 28 days. In case of recharge with STV/ Combo Voucher greater than Rs. 45, the service validity will be extended with validity of respective Combo/ STV Voucher.
  • In case customer has main balance equal or more than Rs. 45 and no recharge is done with a voucher of Minimum Rs. 45 or above at the end of tariff validity period, then the minimum recharge amount of Rs. 45 will be adjusted toward extending the validity of tariff plan by 28 days.

1. Advance billing module is available in specific markets.

2. Customer needs to pay monthly rent in advance in order to keep his services active.

3. The advance billing bill cycle will start on the day of activation of the customer and will continue for a period of 30 days.

4. Post 30 days customer to recharge to continue the services.

5. Incase the customer fails to recharge post 30 days, services will be discontinued

6. Delay in recharging post 30 day period will reduce the days of service for the customer. For eg – customer who is on a 1-30 bill cycle , post expiry recharges on 15th of the month. In such a case customer will be able to use services from 15th to 30th of the month. Customer must recharge on 1st of the month to ensure full 30 day service.

7. Incase customer exhausts his GB quota during the bill cycle period, theplan speed will get throttled to1mbps speed and customer will continue to enjoy the services till the end of the bill cycle date.

8. Advance rental options /Change plan/VAS/ISD/ Data and voice packs options currently not available.

  • Seeking information on passwords or data belonging to another user.Making unauthorized copies of proprietary software, or offering unauthorized copies of proprietary software to others.

Airtel Broadband

1. The Airtel broadband ARP Plan is being provided by Airtel broadband to any customer who wish to avail Airtel’s DSL services.The payment for the plan is an upfront payment and will not be refunded incase the customer cancels the connection before the maturity of the agreed tenure.

Terms and Conditions for Telenor Customers

1. All Telenor customers engaged on Telenor products will continue to enjoy their existing benefits till expiry of their current pack with Telenor expires.

 

2. Post migration, Telenor subscribers shall be free to opt for any similar Airtel exclusive plans or any other Plans as offered by Airtel. Airtel shall endeavor to ensure continuity of tariffs for Telenor customers.

Airtel Data Rollover Offer - Broadband

1. The ‘Airtel Data Rollover Offer’ (“Offer”) is being provided by Bharti Airtel Limited (“Airtel”) to only Airtel Broadband subscribers in India.

 

2. The Offer is only valid for specific plans in every network circle. For a list of plans on which the Offer is applicable, please refer to www.airtel.in/broadband

 

3. This Offer is only applicable on the base plan data quota, and any data left unused from Smart Byte, Big Byte, My Homes free GBs will not be covered under this Offer.

 

4. Under the Offer, the unused data of an Airtel Broadband subscriber at the end of a particular bill cycle is rolled over and added to the data quota for the next bill cycle.

 

5. A maximum of 1000 GB data per subscriber can be accumulated under this Offer.

 

6. This Offer cannot be combined with any other offer provided by Airtel.

 

7. The benefits under this Offer are not transferable. No exchange or redemption for an equivalent cash amount or in any other form shall be allowed.

 

8. The data rollover/ accumulated data under this Offer is valid only till the subscriber continues with the existing plan, or the subscriber upgrades to another plan on which the Offer is applicable. 2. The Offer is valid only in India and redeemable only upon taking fresh subscriptions to Airtel’s select DSL broadband rental plans in accordance with the present terms and conditions.

 

3. This Offer is not valid for special, commercial or enterprise plans.

 

4. This Offer cannot be combined with any other offer provided by Airtel.

 

5. Data/Bundle Recharge

Bundle Service Extension Terms and Conditions

1. The ‘Bundle Service Extension’ (“service”) is being provided by Bharti Airtel Limited (“Airtel”) to only Airtel prepaid subscribers in India.

 

2. The service is only valid for specific unlimited packs in every network circle except Gujarat, Maharashtra, Mumbai, Madhya Pradesh & Chhattisgarh

 

3. All open market Unlimited packs (28 days and above validity) are eligible for this service.

 

4. Under the service, customer can activate 3 days (maximum limit) credit service and continue to get Unlimited Calling + 1GB/ day+ 100 SMS/ day for 3 days after the “service eligible” unlimited pack expires for the customer.

 

5. Customers will be able to avail the service 1 day prior to expiry/ on the day of expiry/ 7 days after expiry of “service eligible” unlimited pack

 

6. Rs 30 will be deducted from main account balance or number of days service consumed will be reduced from next unlimited recharge validity whichever is earlier- main account balance availability or unlimited pack recharge.

Postpaid Digital Activation

The terms and conditions which govern the provision of telecommunication services by Bharti Airtel Limited (’Airtel’) are as mentioned below and your access and use of the Services (as defined below) shall be treated as your consent to be bound by the following appearing terms.

 

The words ‘you’ and ‘your’ as appearing in these terms shall refer to you, i.e. - the subscriber, availing Airtel’s postpaid mobile telecommunication services.

 

1. Provision of Telecommunication Services

 

a. Services: “Services” shall refer to the facility of (a) making phone calls, (b) sending short messages service(s)(“SMS”), (c) data services and (d) any value added services (“VAS”) that maybe provided by Airtel and availed by you basis your request and availability of such Service in a given location. These terms shall apply uniformly to all Services provided irrespective of the technology, methodology or mechanism used to deliver the Services.

 

Following services are activated by default at the time of subscription to Airtel’s postpaid mobile services – STD, ISD. For details on tariffs for ISD, data services, service availability and tariffs on International roaming please visit our website www.airtel.in

 

b. All Services are subject to network availability. Airtel’s wireless telecommunication network used for providing the Services (’Network’) is made available on an as-is-as-available basis and Airtel makes no representation, guarantee or warranty regarding the availability, fitness, quality or reliability of the Network whatsoever. Please note that Airtel’s Network availability may be adversely affected due to technical reasons as well as force majeure circumstances, any acts of God and also due to limitations caused by topographical / geographic /demographic factors. Network and Services may also be affected in cases where interconnection with other networks is not available, or for routine maintenance works including any updates / upgrades / repairs etc. In no circumstance shall Airtel be responsible or liable, in any manner whatsoever, irrespective of the nature of damages, whether or not such damages could have been foreseen/prevented by Airtel and even if Airtel had been informed of the possibility of such damages, for any loss of data, Network unavailability, Service unavailability or any other claim whatsoever related to the quality or availability or sufficiency of the Network or Services. The aforesaid limitations shall apply to the fullest extent permitted by law.

 

c. Services shall always be provided subject to applicable law as well as any applicable guidelines/instructions issued by any statutory or judicial authority (such as TRAI, DoT, Income Tax Department, CCI, TDSAT etc.) including, without limitation KYC requirements, lawful interception requirements and any other applicable law, regulation, UASL license condition or similar binding provision (‘Compliance Requirements’). Airtel reserves the right to take any action (including omission), including the suspension of Services (or part thereof), cancellation of Services (or part thereof) or the suspension / cancellation of any portion of these terms as may be necessary to meet any Compliance Requirements.

 

2. Issue of SIM Card

 

a. A Subscriber Identity Module (‘SIM’) is being issued to you on a non-transferrable, non-alienable basis subject to the following conditions- (a) the information provided by you are true, genuine and accurate and no material information has been withheld; (b) Airtel reserves the right to have such information verified including by way of physical audit, tele-calling etc. For any compliance or service requirements; (c) you shall not obtain more than 9 mobile phone connections including this one from any and/or all Telecom Service Providers put together; (d) you shall provide such further information as Airtel may reasonably require to fulfill any Compliance Requirements; (e) Any change in the information provided by you should be intimated to Airtel in advance along with the requisite supporting documents; (f) You shall have no title and/or ownership and/or interest in the SIM and the ownership over the SIM shall always remain with Airtel.

 

b. The SIM card is and shall remain the property of Airtel and is only being provided to you for use during the time your Services are active. Services to the SIM card will be discontinued if there is no usage, i.e. no Voice / Video call (Outgoing or Incoming) or an outgoing SMS or a Data session or usage of VAS Added Services for a continuous period of 90 days. You will not be able to use this number post disconnection. However, you may retain the said number by keeping it under ‘safe custody’ for an initial period of up to 90 days, upon payment of charges specified by Airtel from time to time, which, subject to Airtel’s sole discretion, may be extended on a monthly basis upon payment of the prescribed charges.

 

c. The unique 10-digit MSISDN mobile phone number associated with your SIM card- (a) shall be assigned by Airtel at its discretion; (b) may be changed by Airtel at any time if the same is reasonably required and; (c) may be reassigned by Airtel to any person at its discretion, post termination of Services.

 

d. If you are a foreign national, the Services shall be provided till the expiry of visa. The Services shall be deactivated without any notice on the expiry of visa.

 

e. You shall be responsible for any loss / damage / misuse of the SIM card or any unauthorized use of or access to the SIM card. Any use of the SIM card, including use of Services through SIM card, shall always be deemed to be used by you. In case of loss / theft /destruction of SIM card, you must please inform Airtel at the earliest so that Airtel may deactivate the SIM card to avoid any misuse. You may apply for a replacement of your SIM card subject to the then applicable requirements (including submission of KYC documents or such other process as may be prescribed by DoT’s instructions), and upon payment of applicable fees, if any. You shall be solely liable for (and indemnify Airtel against) any loss, damages or claims associated with such suspension of SIM card / Services or any delay in such suspension.

 

f. Services on a SIM card shall be activated within a reasonable time after completion of the Authentication process prescribed by DoT or any other competent authority from time to time and completion of any other prescribed requirements.

 

3. Tariff and Charging

 

a. Tariffs associated with Services - (a) are available at www.airtel.in; (b) are subject to change and, unless such change is warranted by a change in any Compliance Requirements or taxes, license fees, cess or similar increase in service costs, shall only be affected upon prior notice; (c) shall be charged in accordance with the tariff plan selected by you, or, in the absence of any such selection, in accordance with Airtel’s then default tariffs. Please note that calls or messages to some numbers may attract premium non-tariff rates. (d) Further, on certain days, no free or discounted voice call / SMS will be available to existing / new subscribers who subscribe to or have subscribed to voice or SMS packs / promotional offers on the customary / festival days (‘Blackout Days’). On these days tariff will be charged as per your tariff plan. b. Charges payable by you for use of the Services may be in the nature of- (a) pro rata charges based on use; (b) subscription charges, either one time or recurring, for example- subscription of VAS services, subscription to special tariff plans etc. and/or (c) One-time to onboard the customer on network and/or (d) Service charges, monthly rentals, taxes, cess, license fees etc.

 

c. Certain applications like Facebook, Twitter etc. run on data even when they are not in use. Subscriber is cautioned to take an informed decision to keep using all such chargeable data applications while home / roaming.

 

d. Charging shall occur on the basis of information captured by the network. For pulse and charging mechanism please refer www.airtel.in or your relevant bill plan. SMS charging is dependent upon character length in each message submitted. For SMS in English language, the charging for first 160 characters will be for 1 SMS. Any SMS greater than 160 characters will be charged up to next 153 characters and in multiples thereof as separate SMSs. For vernacular SMS, the character length is reduced variably depending upon language as per the Unicode text.

 

e. You must maintain with Airtel an interest free “Security Deposit” for the duration of the services which may be used by Airtel to set off any outstanding liabilities you may owe Airtel under these terms or any other agreement. The amount of such security deposit may change, including revision during the services, depending upon your credit rating, nature of service availed, special service etc. Security deposit shall be refunded to you within 60 days of Termination of services after deducting applicable charges and/or outstanding dues.

 

Your bill and invoicing cycle shall be informed to you at the time of activation and you must clear all your dues within the time stipulated in your bill. Airtel shall not be responsible for any non-receipt of your bills and your liability to pay any amount due shall remain unaffected by such non-receipt for any reason. Unless you choose to receive an e-bill, all bills shall be sent to the postal address informed by you at the time of availing the subscription for the Services. Airtel shall take reasonable measures, in accordance with compliance requirement to protect the privacy of your billing information. Bill shall be inclusive of all applicable taxes, cess, etc. as applicable.

 

4. Billing & Payment

 

a. Airtel shall bill you as per the billing cycle which shall run on the frequency as may be decided by Airtel from time to time.

 

b. Bills will be sent at your billing address as mentioned in the eCAF. Airtel shall not be responsible for non-receipt of bill(s), and in such an event, it shall be incumbent on you to enquire about the dues and settle the same.

 

c. All payments are to be made by the prescribed due date. All non-cash payments are subject to realization. Payment beyond due date shall entail late fees as prescribed by Airtel from time to time and taxes thereon. The same shall be payable from the due date till actual realization of payment. Outstation cheques shall not be accepted. All taxes, present and future, and additional taxes/cess/duties etc. levied by Government/local authorities etc. with respect to services provided under this form will be charged to the Customer’s account.

 

d. Customer must pay all the dues in full, without any deduction, set-off or withholding in respect of Services availed by him. However, in case of any disputes(s) regarding the change(s) levied, Customer shall intimate Airtel in writing within seven (7) days of receipt of the bill(s). Customer shall also pay full amount of disputed charges, if any, irrespective of any pending dispute(s).

 

e. Upon delay/non-payment of bills beyond the due date or non-deposit of any applicable fee, charge or deposit, or any increase thereof, Airtel reserves the right to totally or partially disconnect the Services. For restoring the Services, you shall have to apply for reactivation of the connection, after making the due payment and the applicable restoration charges.

 

f. Airtel will not be liable for Customer Equipment (or your equipment) being faulty/incompatible.

 

g. In case of customer opting for e-bill facility, ID, password and other information or details shall be exchanged through the medium of internet and Airtel shall not be responsible or liable for the secrecy or security of the same under any circumstances.

 

5. Legal Responsibilities

 

a. Services are used for communication. Airtel is a facilitator/medium for communication services and does not generate any content which form part of the Services. Accordingly you are advised to - (a) use prudent judgment while using Services and you acknowledge, agree and note that Airtel shall not be responsible for the content transmitted through the Services and (b) not use the Services in any manner and or transmit anything using Services, which violates any Compliance Requirements or is likely or violate any Compliance Requirements or prejudices social or national interest.

 

b. If Airtel has reason to believe, or receives instructions from any authorized agency, Airtel may suspend or terminate any Services and deactivate any SIM card used in contravention of the terms mentioned herein or likely to be used in contravention of the terms mentioned herein.

 

c. You shall be entirely liable for any Services accessed through your SIM card and any information/data transmitted or accessed using your SIM card and shall indemnify and hold Airtel harmless Airtel for any loss, claims and/or damages, howsoever caused, arising from your use of the Services or SIM card. Any data / information sent using any Services shall be subject to Airtel’s terms of service available at www.airtel.in. This includes, without limitation, any data /information transmitted /accessed using SMS, internet access or voice calls; or using any website or other electronic resource maintained by Airtel.

 

d. You shall intimate Airtel about change of address, if any, in writing within one week of such change along with such proof, as may be deemed necessary by Airtel.

 

e. You shall not use the services as an OSP (Other Service Provider) or for the purpose of telemarketing (transactional/ service/promotional - calling/sms), directly or indirectly, without submitting to Airtel the required approvals/registration from relevant authorities.

 

f. Airtel shall be entitled to disconnect or suspend the Services without any notice at any time if so directed or ordered by DoT / security agencies or any other authority exercising jurisdiction over telecommunication services.

 

6. Confidentiality and Communication

 

a. Any information relating to you is used only to provide you Services, improve the Services or any other use that you may consent to. For a detailed overview of what kind of information we collect, how we store it and who all we share it please go through our privacy policy at www.airtel.in.

 

b. Please note that your use of Services and the confidentiality of your communication is subject to any lawful interception requirements/ directives as may be required/authorized under any Compliance Requirement.

 

c. Registration or preference change in DND registry can be done through our website airtel.in or by calling at 1909 IVR (Toll free) or by sending sms START DND to 1909 or by dialing USSD *1909#

 

d. We may communicate with you for Service related matters using your information including by way of calls, SMS, WAP, USSD, e-mail etc. except where such communication is prohibited by Compliance Requirements.

 

e. You accept that any change in tariff or related terms and conditions, schemes etc., communicated inter alia through SMS or USSD etc., shall be valid and proper intimation.

 

f. Information submitted by you for availing the Services or information submitted by you while using the Services, can be shared with Airtel’s business partners and service providers, including but not limited to call centre service providers, associates, subsidiaries (including but not limited to Airtel Payments Bank Limited – Airtel money) which provide services that run on an Airtel SIM.

 

7. Roaming

 

a. ‘Roaming’ refers to the act of accessing Services while outside your home territory or the Service area to which your Services extend. Airtel provides national roaming as well as international roaming subject to applicable terms and conditions as available at www.airtel.in.

 

b. Please note that roaming- (a) may not be available in all countries/states/places;(b) requires a compatible handset; (c) attracts its own tariffs and charges and may also require you to pay an additional fee to use international roaming services. Please note that all services, especially VAS services and services such as CLI etc. may not be available/ may not be fully functional while roaming.

 

c. Roaming services are contingent upon a variety of external factors including relationships with other telecommunication operators as well as other factors including technical feasibility and compatibility. Accordingly, Airtel does not guarantee and makes no representation that Roaming services shall always be available or that roaming services are fit, sufficient or appropriate for any purpose. Roaming services are offered on a best effort basis and Airtel shall not be liable for any failure to provide the same or any deficiency in the provision of Roaming services.

 

8. Mobile Number Portability

 

a. Mobile Number Portability is offered in accordance with Compliance Requirements. It shall continue to be governed by the applicable Regulations promulgated by Telecom Regulatory Authority of India and as amended from time to time.

 

b. Presently, the activation of port-in mobile number will be done within a time frame of approx. 7 days (except 15 days in case of Assam, J&K and North East). You may cancel a port-in request within 24 hours from the time of request submission. However, the porting fee will not be refunded.

 

c. Presently, once a mobile number is ported-in, it cannot be ported out for the next 90 days. Airtel may reject the port-out request if the subscriber is not eligible basis the following ‘Grounds of Rejection’ (a) The porting request has been made before the expiry of 90 days from the date of activation of new connection / network; (b) A request for change of ownership of the mobile number is under process; (c) as Authorized / required by Compliance Requirements (d) The unique porting code mentioned in the porting request does not match with the unique porting code allocated by the donor operator for the mobile number sought to be ported; (e) There are subsisting contractual obligations with respect of which an exit clause has been provided in the subscriber agreement but the subscriber has not complied with such an exit clause. Please note that the Unique Porting Code is valid only for 15 days from the date of generation.

 

d. You agree that upon porting of mobile number, the balance talk time and other benefits shall lapse. You declare that all dues have been paid and shall also be bound to pay all dues to the donor operator pertaining to the mobile number sought to be ported till the date of its eventual porting. You agree that in the event of non-payment of such dues to the donor operator, your connection is liable to be disconnected by Airtel.

 

9. General Terms

 

a. Airtel’s maximum liability under these terms or otherwise, in relation to the Services shall be limited to a refund of the amount charged by Airtel (if any) for the transaction which gave rise to the dispute. Under no circumstances shall Airtel be liable for any indirect, special, consequential or punitive damages or any damages for loss of data, loss of Services, loss of goodwill or any other similar loss even if Airtel had been advised of the possibility of such losses. The limitations on Airtel’s liability as set forth here are an integral consideration for Airtel offering the Services and shall apply to the maximum extent permissible by law.

 

b. Any increase or addition or introduction of taxes and or levy of any taxes, duties or any other statutory charges (present/future) shall be charged to your (customer) account (‘Subscriber Account’) without any notice and shall at all times be deemed to be part of the tariff.

 

c. If any part of these terms are adjudged illegal, invalid or unenforceable, such part of the terms shall be ineffective to the extent of such invalidity or unenforceability only without in any way affecting the validity or enforceability of the remaining parts. Such unenforceable or invalid part of the terms shall be replaced with enforceable and valid terms most closely resembling the intention of the unenforceable or invalid terms.

 

d. The courts at New Delhi shall have exclusive jurisdiction with respect to the subject matter of these terms.

 

e. These terms shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of the Republic of India.

 

f. You may please note that these terms are subject to change and Airtel may, from time to time, make suitable changes / amendments to these terms in accordance with compliance requirements or for any other reason. Such changes / modifications shall be applicable to the Services from the date mentioned in the change notification and an updated / latest version of these terms shall be available at www.airtel.in.

 

10. JK circle advance MRP plans

 

a. The postpaid plan is available only on advance rental basis and no security deposit will be applicable inclusive of applicable taxes.

 

b. For outgoing usage, post activation, its mandatory to opt for any of the available booster pack on recurring basis

 

c. The Postpaid tariff plan can be availed by any customer and is applicable on all mobile handsets/devices.

 

d. In the absence of monthly rental payment, all services will get barred.

 

e. International roaming is not allowed with this plan

 

f. This Plan is intended only for personal use only and cannot be used for any commercial activity. In case of misuse/ fraudulent use/ unauthorised and commercial use, Airtel reserves the right to discontinue the services offered as part of this Plan

 

11. Family Connections

 

The family connection is an integrated plan wherein add-on/ child connections are linked with the primary connection. If the customer seek to disconnect/ port-out their primary mobile number from Airtel’s network, then it is mandatory for the customer to delink all add-on/ child connections linked with primary number to be migrated to other available plans before port-out/ disconnection.

If the customer seek to migrate to prepaid their Add on /child connections, then the current outstanding ( Outstanding + current Unbilled) amount of the entire family needs to be cleared off prior initiating the request.

Prepaid Digital Activation

The terms and conditions which govern the provision of telecommunication services by Bharti Airtel Limited (’Airtel’) are as mentioned below and your access and use of the Services (as defined below) shall be treated as your consent to be bound by the following appearing terms.
 
The words ‘you’ and ‘your’ as appearing in these terms shall refer to you, i.e., - the ‘Subscriber’ availing Airtel’s prepaid mobile telecommunication services.
 
1. Provision of Telecommunication Services
 
a. Services: “Services” shall refer to the facility of (a) making phone calls, (b) sending short message service(s) (“SMS”), (c) data services and (d) any value added services (“VAS”) that maybe provided by Airtel and availed by you basis your request and availability of such Service in a given location. These terms shall apply uniformly to all Services provided irrespective of the technology, methodology or mechanism used to deliver the Services.
 
Following services are activated by default at the time of subscription to Airtel’s pre-paid mobile services – STD, ISD, International Roaming for certain countries. For details on tariffs for ISD, data services, service availability and tariffs on International roaming please visit our website www.airtel.in
 
b. All Services are subject to network availability. Airtel’s wireless telecommunication network used for providing the Services (’Network’) is made available on an as-is-as-available basis and Airtel makes no representation, guarantee or warranty regarding the availability, fitness, quality or reliability of the Network whatsoever. Please note that Airtel’s Network availability may be adversely affected due to technical reasons as well as force majeure circumstances, any acts of God and also due to limitations caused by topographical / geographic /demographic factors. Network and Services may also be affected in cases where interconnection with other networks is not available, or for routine maintenance works including any updates / upgrades / repairs etc. In no circumstance shall Airtel be responsible or liable, in any manner whatsoever, irrespective of the nature of damages, whether or not such damages could have been foreseen/prevented by Airtel and even if Airtel had been informed of the possibility of such damages, for any loss of data, Network unavailability, Service unavailability or any other claim whatsoever related to the quality or availability or sufficiency of the Network or Services. The aforesaid limitations shall apply to the fullest extent permitted by law.
 
c. Services shall always be provided subject to applicable law as well as any applicable guidelines/instructions issued by any statutory or judicial authority (such as TRAI, DoT, Income Tax Department, CCI, TDSAT, etc.) including, without limitation KYC requirements, lawful interception requirements and any other applicable law, regulation, UASL license condition or similar binding provision (‘Compliance Requirements’). Airtel reserves the right to take any action (including omission), including the suspension of Services (or part thereof), cancellation of Services (or part thereof) or the suspension / cancellation of any portion of these terms as may be necessary to meet any Compliance Requirements.
 
2. Issue of SIM Card
 
  a. A Subscriber Identity Module (‘SIM’) is being issued to you on a non-transferrable, non-alienable basis subject to the following conditions- (a) the information provided by you, are true, genuine and accurate and no material has been withheld; Airtel reserves the right to have such information verified including by way of physical audit, tele-calling etc. for any compliance or service requirements; (c) you shall not obtain more than 9 mobile phone connections including this one from any and/or all Telecom Service Providers put together; (d) you shall provide such further information as Airtel may reasonably require to fulfill any Compliance Requirements; (e) Any change in the information provided by you should be intimated to Airtel in advance along with the requisite supporting documents; (f) You shall have no title and/or ownership and/or interest in the SIM and the ownership over the SIM shall always remain with Airtel.
 
b. The SIM card is and shall remain the property of Airtel and is only being provided to you for use during the time your Services are active. Services to the SIM card will be discontinued if there is no usage, i.e. no Voice / Video call (Outgoing or Incoming) or an outgoing SMS or a Data session or usage of VAS for a continuous period of 90 days. You will not be able to use this number post disconnection. However, you may be able get the same number reactivated within grace period of 15 days (‘Grace Period’) from the date of disconnection by paying reactivation charges specified by Airtel from time to time.
 
The unique 10-digit MSISDN mobile phone number associated with your SIM card- (a) shall be assigned by Airtel at its discretion; (b) may be changed by Airtel at any time if the same is reasonably required and; (c) may be reassigned by Airtel to any person at its discretion, post termination of Services
 
c. If you are a foreign national, the Services shall be provided till the expiry of visa. The Services shall be deactivated without any notice on the expiry of visa.
 
d. You shall be responsible for any loss / damage / misuse of the SIM card or any unauthorized use of or access to the SIM card. Any use of the SIM card, including use of Services through SIM card, shall always be deemed to be used by you. In case of loss / theft / destruction of SIM card, you must inform Airtel at the earliest so that Airtel may deactivate the SIM card to avoid any misuse. You may apply for a replacement of your SIM card subject to the then applicable requirements (including submission of KYC documents or such other process as required by DoT’s instructions), and upon payment of applicable fees, if any. You shall be solely liable for (and indemnify Airtel against) any loss, damages or claims associated with such suspension of SIM card / Services or any delay in such suspension.
 
e. Services on a SIM card shall be activated within a reasonable time after completion of the authentication process prescribed by DoT or any other competent authority from time to time and completion of any other prescribed requirements.

 

3. Tariff and Charging

 

a. Tariffs associated with Services - (a) are available at www.airtel.in; (b) are subject to change and, unless such change is warranted by a change in any Compliance Requirements or taxes, license fees, cess or similar increase in service costs, shall only be affected upon prior notice; (c) shall be charged in accordance with the tariff plan selected by you, or, in the absence of any such selection, in accordance with Airtel’s then default tariffs. Please note that calls or messages to some numbers may attract premium non-tariff rates. (d) Further, on certain days, no free or discounted voice call / SMS will be available to existing / new subscribers who subscribe to or have subscribed to voice or SMS packs / promotional offers on the customary / festival days (‘Blackout Days’). On these days tariff will be charged as per your tariff plan. b. Charges payable by you for use of the Services may be in the nature of- (a) pro rata charges based on use; (b) subscription charges, either one time or recurring, for example- subscription of VAS services, subscription to special tariff plans etc. and/or (c) Service charges, monthly rentals, taxes, cess, license fees etc.

 

c. You must pay for all Services in advance. Charges for Services availed shall be deducted from prepaid amount deposit with Airtel (prepaid balance). Such prepaid balance (a) shall not be refunded, returned, liquidated or utilized towards anything except services under any circumstances (b) shall be forfeited in case of termination of Services.

 

d. Charging shall occur on the basis of information captured by the network. For pulse and charging mechanism please refer www.airtel.in or your relevant bill plan. SMS charging is dependent upon character length in each message submitted. For SMS in English language, the charging for first 160 characters will be for 1 SMS. Any SMS greater than 160 characters will be charged up to next 153 characters and in multiples thereof as separate SMS. For vernacular SMS, the character length is reduced variably depending upon language as per the Unicode text.

 

e. Certain applications like Facebook, Twitter etc. run on data even when they are not in use. Subscriber is cautioned to take an informed decision to keep using all such chargeable data applications while home / roaming.

 

4. Prepaid Balance

 

a. You may make a credit into your prepaid balance using such facilities and avenues as may be made available by Airtel from time to time such as retail recharge coupons / vouchers, virtual recharge etc. (each a recharge mechanism). The recharge voucher of same denomination may have different benefits on different recharge platforms.

 

b. Eligible Subscriber can avail advance talk time service when they are running short of balance subject to applicable Service charges.

 

c. Airtel reserves the right to add, amend or discontinue any recharge mechanism or platform or part thereof at any time.

 

5. Validity

 

a. Recharge mechanism may also be used to purchase Services. Such Services shall only be made available to you for the duration for which you have validity (‘Validity’).

 

b. Validity is non-cumulative. If the Airtel prepaid card is recharged before expiry of the validity period, the residual value shall be carried forward to the next expiry period counted from the date of recharge. The higher validity out of the coupon recharged, shall remain applicable. Airtel does not offer the facility of cumulative validity.

 

c. It is clarified that - should you have prepaid balance but no validity, no service shall be available on your SIM card. However, should you have validity but no prepaid balance, all Services which are not chargeable or Services for which you have read already paid in advance shall continue to be available on your SIM card including incoming calls.

 

d. In case your Services has been suspended or deactivated due to lack of validity or owing to any Compliance Requirement or for any other reason, you may contact Airtel within the Grace Period and apply for reactivation of services in accordance with the applicable policies or Compliance Requirement failing which your services may be terminated.

 

6. Legal Responsibilities

 

a. Services are used for communication. Airtel is a facilitator/medium for communication services and does not generate any content which form part of the Services. Accordingly you are advised to - (a) use prudent judgment while using Services and you acknowledge, agree and note that Airtel shall not be responsible for the content transmitted through the Services and (b) not use the Services in any manner and or transmit anything which violates any Compliance Requirements or is likely or violate any Compliance Requirements or prejudices social or national interest

 

b. If Airtel has reason to believe, or receives instructions from any authorized agency, Airtel may suspend or terminate any Services and deactivate any SIM card used in contravention of the terms mentioned herein or likely to be used in contravention of the terms mentioned herein.

 

c. You shall be entirely liable for any Services accessed through your SIM card and any information/data transmitted or accessed using your SIM card and shall indemnify and hold Airtel harmless for any loss, claims and/or damages, howsoever caused, arising from your use of the Services or SIM card. Any data / information sent using any Services shall be subject to Airtel’s terms of service available at www.airtel.in. This includes, without limitation, any data /information transmitted /accessed using SMS, internet access or voice calls; or using any website or other electronic resource maintained by Airtel.

 

d. You shall intimate Airtel about change of address, if any, in writing within one week of such change along with such proof, as may be deemed necessary by Airtel.

 

e. You shall not use the services as an OSP (Other Service Provider) or for the purpose of telemarketing (transactional/ service/promotional - calling/sms), directly or indirectly, without submitting to Airtel the required approvals/registration from relevant authorities.

 

f. Airtel shall be entitled to disconnect or suspend the Services without any notice at any time if so directed or ordered by DoT / security agencies or any other authority exercising jurisdiction over telecommunication services.

 

7. Confidentiality and Communication

 

a. Any information relating to you is used only to provide you Services, improve the Services or any other use that you may consent to. For a detailed overview of what kind of information we collect, how we store it and who all we share it please go through our privacy policy at www.airtel.in.

 

b. Please note that your use of Services and the confidentiality of your communication is subject to any lawful interception requirements/ directives as may be required/authorized under any Compliance Requirement.

 

c. Registration or preference change in DND registry can be done through our website airtel.in or by calling at 1909 IVR (Toll free) or by sending sms START DND to 1909 or by dialing USSD *1909#

 

d. We may communicate with you for Service related matters using your information including by way of calls, SMS, WAP, USSD, e-mail etc. except where such communication is prohibited by Compliance Requirements.

 

e. You accept that any change in tariff or related terms and conditions, schemes etc., communicated inter alia through SMS, or USSD etc., shall be valid and proper intimation.

 

f. Information submitted by you for availing the Services or information submitted by you while using the Services, can be shared with Airtel’s business partners and service providers, including but not limited to call centre service providers, associates, subsidiaries (including but not limited to Airtel Payments Bank Limited- Airtel Money) which provide services that run on an Airtel SIM.

 

8. Roaming

 

a. ‘Roaming’ refers to the act of accessing Services while outside your home territory or the Service area to which your Services extend. Airtel provides national roaming as well as international roaming subject to applicable terms and conditions as available at www.airtel.in.

 

b. Please note that roaming- (a) may not be available in all countries/states/places;(b) requires a compatible handset; (c) attracts its own tariffs and charges and may also require you to pay an additional fee to use international roaming services. Please note that all services, especially VAS services and services such as CLI etc. may not be available/ may not be fully functional while roaming.

 

c. Roaming services are contingent upon a variety of external factors including relationships with other telecommunication operators as well as other factors including technical feasibility and compatibility. Accordingly, Airtel does not guarantee and makes no representation that Roaming services shall always be available or that roaming services are fit, sufficient or appropriate for any purpose. Roaming services are offered on a best effort basis and Airtel shall not be liable for any failure to provide the same or any deficiency in the provision of Roaming services.

 

9. Mobile Number Portability

 

a. Mobile Number Portability is offered in accordance with Compliance Requirements. It shall continue to be governed by the applicable Regulations promulgated by Telecom Regulatory Authority of India and as amended from time to time.

 

b. Presently, the activation of port-in mobile number will be done within a time frame of approx. 7 days (except 15 days in case of Assam, J&K and North East). You may cancel a port-in request within 24 hours from the time of request submission. However, the porting fee will not be refunded.

 

c. Presently, once a mobile number is ported-in, it cannot be ported out for the next 90 days.
