The Ved movie’s original theatrical release was on 30th December, 2022. A critical and commercial success, the movie has become the highest grossing Marathi film of 2022. Directed by the multi-talented Riteish Deshmukh, the movie stars Genelia D’Souza, Riteish Deshmukh, Ashok Saraf, and Jiya Shankar.
The story revolves around Satya who falls in love with Nisha and wants to marry her. Unfortunately, due to certain reasons, he is separated from the love of his life and ends up marrying his neighbour Shravani who has been in love with Ved since childhood. The movie beautifully captures the aftermath of lost and unrequited love.
