  • Choose your bank account type. You need to select between a savings account and a current account
  • Fill out the amount that you wish to transfer to the beneficiary and press ‘Correct’
  • Click ‘Yes’ to confirm the entered amount

Once the amount has been entered, the funds will be transferred to the beneficiary within the stipulated time. But hey, if the transaction is not completed within the time limit, your screen will flash a ‘Time Out’ message. Well, in that case, you need to repeat these steps all over again!

National Electronic Funds Transfer (NEFT)

Many leading digital payments banks like Airtel Payments Bank allow you to electronically transfer funds from one bank to another in India. This is termed as NEFT, which usually takes up to two hours to complete the transaction. Transferring funds through NEFT on Airtel Payments Bank is free of charge.   • Open the Airtel Thanks app or directly visit the website of Airtel Payments Bank
  • Choose ‘Transfer Money’
  • Press ‘Transfer to Bank’
  • Submit the details of the beneficiaries
  • Complete the process

Unified Payment Interface (UPI)

Transferring funds to your friends and family via UPI has now become fairly easy. All credits to Airtel Thanks, which is also a money transfer app, apart from being your go-to choice for online recharges and more.  It has powered BHIM UPI-based payments, making it possible to send money to your near and dear ones instantly and free of charge. So, follow these steps mentioned below to transfer funds via UPI on Airtel Thanks:

  • Login to Airtel Thanks
  • Go to the ‘Pay’ option
  • Select between ‘Send Money’ or ‘Scan any QR’ option

Note: If you choose the ‘Send Money’ option, you need to link your bank account to transfer the funds. But, if you choose the OR code option, scan the code directly from your mobile phone to send the money.

Real-Time Gross Settlement (RTGS)

It is another great option to transfer funds from one bank account to another in real-time on a gross settlement basis. Thus, the transactions made through RTGS are authorized instantly without any delay. The RTGS transactions are mainly used for high-value funds that require immediate clearance.
