How to Raise a UPI Transaction Complaint

How to Report Transaction Related UPI Complaints

If you’re using the Airtel Thanks App for UPI transactions and you encounter any issues, follow these steps to file a complaint: 

  1. Open the Airtel Thanks App: Launch the app on your smartphone and log in using your credentials, ensuring you have an active internet connection.
  1. Locate the “UPI” Section: Once logged in, navigate to the UPI section, where you can access all your UPI transactions.
  2. Select the Transaction: Go to Transaction history and find the transaction that you want to raise a complaint about and click on it to view the details.
  1. Report an Issue: Within the transaction details page, you will find an option to “Report an Issue” or “Raise a Complaint.” Click on it to proceed. Else, you can also click on “Get Help” option to report. 
  2. Choose the Type of Complaint: The Airtel Thanks App offers different categories of complaints such as “Failed Transaction,” “Money Deducted but Not Credited,” “Incorrect Amount Debited,” or “wrong UPI transaction complaint” etc. Select the appropriate category that matches your issue.
  3. Provide Necessary Details: In this step, you need to provide essential information related to the transaction, including the UPI transaction ID, the date and time of the transaction, and the amount involved. Additionally, describe the issue in detail to help the customer support team understand the problem accurately.
  4. Submit the Complaint: After filling in all the necessary details, review your complaint to ensure accuracy and then submit it.

Process to Report UPI Transaction UPI Complaints in BHIM Mobile App

If you encounter any problems during a UPI transaction on the BHIM app, here’s how you can file a complaint:

  1. Launch the BHIM App: Open the BHIM app on your smartphone and log in using your UPI PIN.
  1. Go to the “Transaction History”: Once you are in the app, locate the “Transaction History” section, where you can find a list of all your past UPI transactions.
  2. Select the Transaction: Identify the specific transaction for which you wish to raise a complaint and click on it to view the transaction details. 
  3. Choose the Complaint Option: Within the transaction details page, you will find two available options – “Raise Concern” and “Call Bank.” Select the appropriate option based on your preference.
  4. Online Complaint Form: If you choose to raise a concern, you will be directed to an online complaint form. Here, you can articulate the issue you faced during the transaction in a clear and concise manner.
  5. Submit the Complaint: After providing the necessary information in the complaint form, review the details to ensure accuracy and then submit it. Your complaint will be registered for further investigation.
  6. Customer Care Assistance: Alternatively, if you prefer to speak directly with BHIM’s customer care to lodge the UPI complaint, you can select the “Call Bank” option.
  7. Contact Customer Care: By choosing the “Call Bank” option, you will be connected to the BHIM customer care team through the toll-free number 1800-120-1740.
  8. File Complaint via Phone: You can directly file the complaint by dialling the UPI customer care helpline number, where a customer care representative will assist you with the complaint registration process.

Remember to have your transaction details and relevant information readily available when reporting the complaint to ensure a swift and efficient resolution.
