Protecting Our Planet
 

  • 71% reduction in network emission intensity for mobile (carbon emissions per terabyte) from FY 2017-18 and 98.7% reduction from FY 2011-12
  • Recycled over 5,900+ tonnes of waste including over 4100+ tonnes of e-waste
  • 4.8% reduction in CO2 emissions per square feet in our facility and 7% reduction in CO2 emissions per rack in data center operations as compared to FY 2017-18 respectively
  • Over 16% increase in deployment of renewable energy in our own operations from FY 2014-15 and procured over 71,157 MWh energy through green wheeling which helped us in saving over 58,348 tonnes of CO2 emissions per annum
  • 7600+ kilolitres of diesel saved since FY 2017-18 in our own mobile network infrastructure
  • Over 939 MWh of electricity saved in our facilities through energy conservation initiatives
  • In FY 2018-19, 142.4 million e-bills were sent which led to savings of over 427 million sheets of paper, 82.7% increase since FY 2011-12
